Sadly, he will probably be buried in a year or less. Probably also just have a few matches at first before AEW decides that they have nothing else for him. I have seen this happen to a lot of pro wrestlers that jump ship thinking they got a better deal.

@DaVon_Lewis I wouldn't say mid at best. I mean, he could have been a low upper card wrestler if booked just right. He has the moves and ability. Mic skills need some work. Yes, the red carpet will be out for him for a few months, i bet they will put a title on him just to show off and lure him to stay which companies seem to always do,, and then he will be in the background waiting for his AEW contract to expire.

Aew dropped the ball with their homegrown talent. Ethan page, Ricky starks, daniel garcia, powerhouse hobbd, wardlow, takeshita. They did well pushing these young guys and getting them tv exposure. They got over. But then the aew booking kicks in and just kills the momentum out of nowhere and you never see these guys for months or they just job them out. In my opinion, starks is built for wwe. There's probably no room in the main roster right now and he would probably be dissapointed being in nxt. But he would be happy getting tv time. In time I think starks becomes a huge mid card draw for wwe. Probably wont be the top champ but will definitely be the top of the mid card. Regarding penta and fenix, penta is my favourite. He oozes charisma he gets over as a heel and a face. He has a different look from all luchadors. Is the best talent out of Mexico today. And fenix is just an in ring freak. He's up there with ricochet and ospreay as top high flyer in the world. If they do go to wwe. I hope they are booked to the moon. And if penta is booked correctly and as a heel? Then I will start watching wwe regularly again. For under 20 years I loss interest in wwe. If they book penta correctly I'll watch wwe again. But if the luch bros are sent to nxt, then he'll no. The luchadors aren't booked well in wwe at all and are all lower mid card at the moment. If wwe follow the way penta was a heel in lucha underground, he will be a megastar and a big money draw and main event talent. Rey fenix will light up the mid card and kids will gravitate to him as the new rey mysterio. Both companies have booking flaws. But right now aew booking has been really bad. Toni storm, maria may. Mercedes mone, britt baker, dabeilson, kamille, young bucks, okada, swerve, ospreay, Christian mark briscoe, shibata have really good booking. But the rest is really bad. All of Tony's favourites dont draw a dime. We see kyle fletcher every week. Don callis why the hell is he on tv, mark sterling why is he on tv? We see the outrunners, jd drake, Jacked Jameson, hologram, tony nese regularly. Where the hell is all the top talent? Why isnint moxley booked for all in yet to up the ticket sales. Why isint okada booked for all in? Jericho, samoa joe, house of black, hangman, jay lethal, bullet club gold, pac, saraya, miro, ftr, the acclaimed, claudio? 2 weeks out from all in and none of the above are booked an announced just baffles me. Why announce claudio vs okada for UK dynamite and not on ALL IN? Tony khan booking as of late is terrible for majority of his top talent. And he is still in the bad habit of pushing people that have no drawing power and don't put bums in seats. The top injured people are Adam cole and Adam Copleand. Get sting, copeland cole, jake roberts, Paul white, Dustin rhodes, ricky steamboat, and jeff jarrett to open all in with an in ring segment. People will buy tickets just to watch the opening. It fustrates me how good of a roster tony has but still doesn't know how to use them. I won't be suprised if the casino gauntlet at All I'm consists of kyle fletcher, turbo Floyd, truth magnum, hologram, kommander, the butcher, Brandon cutler, colt cabana, griff garrison, cole karter, action andretti, Darius martin, shawn Dean, carli bravo, big bill etc

Starting off, it'll be interesting to see that feud to start his career in WWE. But I see him starting in NXT to build a reputation among WWE fans. The best part would be to see him and The Rock in the same ring. It could be legendary.

It is not necessarily the case that his career will conclude there, or his talents will be squandered if his career comes to an end, as he will have opportunities in numerous other independent promotions. The independent wrestling scene is currently flourishing, offering the potential for increased financial gain and a less demanding work schedule compared to the WWE promotion. He was stuck in midcard at best when it came to the WWE so I'm sure he wanted a change.
