At 5:20 this is normal in older homes, which is why shims and decorative panels are your best friend.

You are so cute, I smiled watching the video because I understand exactly what you are going through… homeownership is not easy, but the result after you set everything up will be your little heaven, so enjoy the process Clara! 😊

Excellent job, Clara! Please remember to have qualified service people helping you with major projects. Fyi, do you have any wood that wasn't replaced? Have a garage, a wood frame? Check for termites now. So the seller can pay for it. Don't get discouraged. You're doing great!

the modern dating scene would be a cool topic to hear your perspective on. timing, fear of rejection, too deep in your masculine, enjoying your space while not surrendering one of your night stands to someone, all things that could make us pause on dating. lol love your progress and the wabisabi approach to making things work! lemme know if you need help with your screen door! ✌️

Hey!! This is such a late comment, but I'm wondering how fast you can go on these skates? I'm thinking of using these for commuting and doing DoorDash/Uber Eats deliveries, and I wanna know what I can expect in terms of how fast I can go on them through city streets. I'm trying to decide between these and an electric scooter, and whether a scooter's higher speed is worth its increase in size/weight, and having to recharge it. I'm also curious, when going uphill while wearing these, have you found it easier to skate or to walk? How much do uphill slopes tend to affect your speed and effort? You can probably tell these comments are coming from a total beginner lol. Anyway thanks so much and amazing & super informative video!!
@clara.hwajoon2 ай бұрын
Uhhhh it def depends on ur skating skills - i can go a little slower than a cruising bike at top speed on flat ground. Id do electric lol. Uphill is hard esp if ur gonna be carrying stuff. Its not worth the lack of stability and increased effort.

You really gotta keep an eye on construction workers and make sure they are doing everything right! Some like to take shortcuts. I always recommend to do your research on how things should be done properly so you are aware of the proper way to do them and always ask questions too. I also recommend in taking video and pictures of everything and make more than one visit to the site!

Realize, this is an old home, walls are not going to be 90 degrees, especially old LA homes because they’re are not brick. The issue there is that they didn’t add decorative shim pieces to make it 90 degrees during that cabinet installation.
