Dingers dont have enough weight to sink where i fish..the current keeps them floating through the water way too long..im sure theyre great in a lake or pond though 👍

I tried using live helgremites when I was a kid. Hard to bait them on hook and pinched hard. I used 3 and gave rest to neighbor.

I like it in a dropshot or on a splitshot rig. Hellgrammites don't move like that or look like that in the water. So i rather fish them how they naturally look.

I can’t speak to the live scope piece because I fish shallow inshore but these are fantastic on the IRL. The size is perfect and its lack of movement on the slow roll is super effective on tarpon. I love finesse fishing and these have been very productive for snook, redfish, trout, and tarpon

Does fishing artificial hellgrammites require "matching the hatch" as in color depending on what time of the year?? I've never tried fishing this lure but wanna try it. Any tip is very appreciated. Thank You!!

I bought my 1st Hellgrammite Lure last week. I picked the color that was closest to the actual Hellgrammites i found in the River, and on the 1st cast yesterday, I caught my 1st small mouth. My sons and I were excited, they work!!! Guadalupe River, New Braunfels, Tx.

It should be said that the split shot rig is terrible for rocky bottoms. The split shot will invariable get stuck between rocks.

Great knot for braid to fluoro leaders. It doesn't slip so you can cut the tag ends as short as you want. It's a tiny small diameter knot that flows through the guides like silk, even micro guides. And if you take your time and tie it right it's super strong. It has never failed me. Idc what knot you tie, if your catching fish you will have to retie throughout the day. And one of the best benefits of the Alberto knot is it's a simple quick knot to tie. When i fish out of a kayak, I can retie my leaders easily and get right back to fishing. I'd like to see somebody tie an FG knot sitting in a kayak with the wind blowing you around the lake!

Make this bait more durable. They get torn up to easy

I think they should make a smaller version of this for trout, crappie and panfish too. It's just an idea. This really does look like a cool little jig here.

What going Jason just was looking at this video on the sonar minnow and I'm ready to play with it but with a twist your falcon drop shot rod and the twist I am talking about just bought some of core tackle hoover rigs the one I will use is a size 1 and the size 1 with the weed guard I live in ohio and my favorite lake has deep water and shallow with a lot of grass please give me any inside on this set up thank you Anthony Gray P.S your rod is a killer My PB on it caught two last year one 4lb 5once and number 2 was 4lb 10once I'm glad you help make this falcon rod
