Catholic theology rejects predestination as denying free will. God desires all to be saved (1 Tim 2:4) and gives everyone sufficient grace to choose Him. Christ died for all, not just an elect few (John 3:16). While God foreknows our choices, He doesn’t force them. Instead, He invites us to freely respond to His grace. The doctrine of predestination, as understood in some traditions, reflects either human arrogance or ignorance in rejecting the fullness of Christ’s teaching and the Church He anointed to safeguard it. Jesus established a Church, not individual interpretations, promising that the Holy Spirit would guide it into all truth (John 16:13).

Hello @Thinkingwithmichel and thanks for the comment. Catholic theology on predestination and many other biblical doctrines, are wrong. There are simple tests one can apply to determine if what you and the Catholic "church" believe is in accordance with scriptures. Test 1: if Christ died for all, meaning that Christ paid the price for everyone's sins, then why is God sending people to hell? How can God justify double jeopardy? This basically would mean that no one is guilty of sin(s) since Christ paid for all sins. Test 2: If God desires all to be saved and God is truly Sovereign, God's desires is always done, then why are there people going to hell? Shouldn't everyone be saved if God truly desires that the be saved? Test 3: If the sinner is dead according to the scriptures (Eph. 2:1 And you He made alive, who were DEAD IN TRESPASSES AND SINS), have no capacity in and of himself to respond to God (1 Cor. 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; NOR CAN HE KNOW THEM, because they are spiritually discerned.), and no desire nor ability to please God in any way (Rom. 8:7-8 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh CANNOT PLEASE GOD.) how then will God give the DEAD sinner life if He does not force it upon the sinner? According to your doctrine and that of the Catholic church, dead people can make choices. Hmmm, that's interesting. What you and the Catholic church along with many others is that salvation is a NEW CREATION. The killing of the old human spirit and the CREATION of a new human spirit. There isn't an angel nor human that can assist God with that. Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart (human spirit) and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone (the dead sin infested human spirit) out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Now with respect to this so-called human free will. There is no such thing in the scriptures. In order to have true “free will”, one must be able to have absolute control over ALL circumstances and the RESULTING consequences. If you cannot predetermine conditions, then determine the state of affairs, then control the outcome then you do not have true “free will”. What you have is a preset limited “will” governed by the predetermined, determined, and sovereign Word of the Almighty Most High God, who upholds and works all things after the counsel of His own will. Here is an example: one can go to the top of a 30 story building and stand on the ledge. One can now use one's will to "choose" jump or not jump however after the choice is made the consequences of that choice is out of your hand. Step off the ledge and your free will ends at ground level. The consequences is now in the hands of the Only True and Living Sovereign LORD God, the only being who possesses true free will. If Jesus would choose to step off the ledge, He alone can determine whether to ascend or descend or do neither. That's true free will. The scriptures declares it this way: 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. 9 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. 11 The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Psalms 33:8-11 34 And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. 35 ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH ARE REPUTED AS NOTHING; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” Daniel 4:34-35 3 But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases. Psalms 115:3 21 There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the LORD's counsel-that will stand. Proverbs 19:21 24 The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand:…27 For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?" Isaiah 14:24, 27 12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance? 13 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or as His counselor has taught Him? 14 With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding? 15 Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing. 16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its beasts sufficient for a burnt offering. 17 All nations before Him are as nothing, and they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless. 8 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him? Isaiah 40:12-18 That's free will, friend. There isn't an angel nor human that has ever possessed true free will. God alone is Sovereign and He isn't sharing it with neither of us. I did a study series on this very topic. Please feel free to listen and comment. Your comments are welcome. kzbin.info/aero/PLoMQPto7DTdvhiJ4H1z8Ic7P1eE9S1tyJ

@@treasureineveryverse69 I appreciate your thoughtful engagement on the matters of salvation, predestination, free will, and the nature of the Church. These are incredibly important issues, and it's clear that we both hold deep convictions about them. As someone who believes in the teachings of the Catholic Church, I would welcome the opportunity to engage in an open, respectful dialogue about these topics, especially regarding the truth and authority of the Catholic Church in light of Scripture and tradition. I’d like to invite you to a Zoom debate where we can explore these theological questions further. I believe that a thoughtful discussion could be mutually enriching, and we could both gain a deeper understanding of each other’s perspectives. If you're open to it, we could arrange a time that works for both of us to discuss the following: The relationship between God’s sovereignty and human free will. The truth of the Catholic Church as the one true Church, established by Christ. The nature of salvation and the means by which it is received. Please let me know if you're open to this and when would be a good time for you to join a Zoom meeting. I’m confident that this will be a respectful and enriching exchange of ideas. Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Michel

While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

This was not some puffy white or grey cloud that we see daily. No, not at all, remember they were fishermen who went through all sorts of storms on the Sea therefore a normal thunder cloud would not have made them fearful. What was it that made them afraid? It was the type of cloud, the same cloud seen by Moses and the Children of Israel at Mt. Sinai. Exodus 19:16-20 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. Then the LORD came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. Hebrews 12:18-21 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”) Exodus 24:16-17 Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

In this instance, Peter mistakenly and irreverently placed Moses - the representative of the Law and Elijah - the representative of the prophets, on the same level with Christ of whom the Law and the Prophets testified. Everything that written in the Old Testament is about Jesus.

@@allgastrucking4954 Hello @allgastrucking4954 Yes, of course, I can be wrong however let’s ensure that you and I are speaking regarding the same things. When the Bible talks about types of Christ, what it means is something that pictures who Christ is, what Christ accomplishes on God‘s behalf, and what Christ provides for those who are heirs of salvation. With respect to a quantity of those types, I have never actually counted how many types of Christ there are in the Bible. Nevertheless, although there are many types of Christ, given to us in the scriptures (people like Joseph and animals like lambs), there is only one Christ the God-Man who we know as Jesus.

Hey Kevin. So I was reading in Exodus that the manna that came down from heaven was called a thing, and in psalms, I think it was psalm 71, it describes Israel’s sin when they had the flesh still in their mouth they provoked God. How is that shadowed in the gospel, and is it the same thing referenced by Paul?

@@jay8187 Hello @jay8187. There were two purposes for the manna from heaven. 1. It was a type of Christ as THE Source of "life". The Lord Himself explained this to religious Jews in the John 6 discourse. 2. It was a shadow of Christ as THE Sustainer of "life" while the believer is here on the earth. The Lord Jesus also explained this to the religious crowd in John 6. By the way, do you remember what all the religious fake disciples did after Jesus told them that He didn't come from heaven to provide their fantasies and lustful desires for earthly things such as wealth, health, and a so called good life? ALL OF THEM STOPPED FOLLOWING HIM but the true disciples (believers) declared "Lord, where will we go, YOU ALONE HAVE THE WORDS (MANNA) OF LIFE! The fake disciples and religious people did exactly what the O.T. Jews did. They complained and cried out against the Holy One, desiring that which comes from the earth, the meat of this world, called flesh throughout the scriptures. They wanted their flesh which is a type of SIN. Listen to the Lord Himself describe this truth: John 3:18-21 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light (manna - Christ) has come into the world, and men loved darkness (flesh - sin) rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil HATES THE LIGHT (the sinner literally hates Christ) and does not (the sinner is unwilling to) come to the light (Christ), lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds (What deeds? His birth from heaven - Christ the Source, and his lifestyle on the earth - Christ the Sustainer) may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” God gave them manna from heaven because in the wisdom of God their journey through the desert which represents the believer's new birth Christ (dry bones Ezekiel 37), and wilderness which represents the believer lifestyle in the world (the regeneration but with no self abilities Ezekiel 37), required His sustaining nutrients. The manna prevented the body (the body of the believer) from contracting the diseases that comes from the futility (sinful pleasures) of the world, the futility (lustful desires to please self) of our own bodies, and the futility (deception) of the devil. The disease is called Beriberi. It attacks the feet which is why the bronze Laver of Water (Christ our Sanctification) was given to the Levitical Priests who performed service in God's Tabernacle & Temple which represented the body of Christ. Jesus taught this truth to His disciples when He Himself washed their feet. The believers cannot wash their own feet, only God the Holy Spirit can. Only once the Holy Spirit utilizing the Scriptures, calls out our sinful behavior (the washing) does the believer confess his/her sins. Here is the definition of Beriberi: Beriberi, also known as thiamine deficiency, is a disease that occurs when the body doesn't have enough thiamine, or vitamin B1. The name beriberi may come from the Sinhalese phrase බැරි බැරි, which means "extreme weakness". Beriberi can be caused by a number of factors, including: Diet: A diet consisting mainly of white rice can lead to beriberi. Alcoholism: Heavy drinking can make it harder for the body to absorb and store thiamine. Genetics: In rare cases, beriberi can be genetic, causing people to be unable to absorb thiamine from food. There are two main types of beriberi: Dry beriberi Affects the nervous system, causing symptoms like difficulty walking and loss of feeling in the hands and feet. Wet beriberi Affects the cardiovascular system, causing symptoms like a fast heartbeat and fluid overload in the tissues. The believer can only live a godly lifestyle if one continually feed on the word of God, which is Christ the living word. We will never go hungry for God if we don't miss the meal of feeding on God's word, bread of life. I will put you in remembrance of what the Lord told us, man shall not live on bread (natural food of any kind from the earth) alone but by every word (spiritual food, manna from heaven) that proceeds out of the mouth of God (written and spoken by the Holy Spirit who only quotes the word of God to us).

@allgastrucking4954 Kevin could it be that we are in Christ because the spirit of God connects us to Christ and each other. Our new spirit is in the heart of Christ? Hello @allgastrucking4954. I had to copy and paste your comment as it came to my inbox but did not post under the video comment section. The short answer to your first question is yes. That's exactly what happens, the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ thereby making us one with Christ in union. Below are a couple of scriptures that reveal that truth. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Romans 12:3-5 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 1 Corinthians 12:12-18 The next question becomes what does that looks like in the scriptures? The perfect example given to us is marriage. Pay close attention to the progression provided to us in Genesis. 1. The new creation (born again) 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Genesis 2:21-23 2. The relationship (follow me, the One who loved you and gave Myself for you) 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Ephesians 5:22-33 3. The Oneness with Christ (the nakedness represents the Lord not withholding things from us, His body) 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Genesis 2:25 16 Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way. 17 And the LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, 18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” Genesis 18:16-19 14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Psalms 25:14 7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. John 15:15 Hope that helps.

Hello @niguebramble2948 and thanks for the very important question. There are several things that are given to us in the scriptures to assure us that we are born from above and are in possession of this new human spirit and possessed by the Holy Spirit. 1. An unquenchable love for God. This love will lead to a passionate desire surrender one’s will entirely for the will of God which results in obedience. John 14:19-24 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. 2. A love for other believers. John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 1 John 3:14-15 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 3. A love of the truth, Christ, the Scriptures, and the Gospel. 1 John 2:3-6 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 5:1-5 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 Peter 1:22-23 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 1 Cor. 16:22 If anyone DOES NOT LOVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, let him be accursed. O Lord, come! 2 Thes. 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thes. 1:6-8 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and ON THOSE WHO DO NOT OBEY THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. 4. True believers turn away from instead of seeking to participate in sin. 1 John 3:4-9 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 5. True believers walk in the light of the scriptures empowered by the Holy Spirit. 1 John 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. Romans 8:9, 12-17 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His…Therefore, brethren, we are debtors-not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Ephesians 5:8-9 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), Finally, Jesus describes salvation as opened eyes, turning, receiving, and being sanctified. Jesus who saved Paul, explained to him that the same miraculous events of salvation, accomplished by God’s power, was what God also wanted to see happen in the lives of lost people everywhere Paul preached: Acts 26:17-18 (NKJV)I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes (Life), in order to turn them from darkness to light (Love of truth), and from the power of Satan to God (Obedience to the truth), that they may receive forgiveness of sins (Faith in the Gospel) and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me (Eternal home).’ Please let me know if there are further questions or comments. Thanks again for watching.

Hello @MyTubey, thank you for the comment. Let's review that particular commandment. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. Exodus 20:4-6 Moses had made it clear that children were not punished for the sins of their parents (Deut. 24:16; Ezekiel 18:19-32), but children would feel the impact of breaches of God’s law by their parents’ generation as a natural consequence of its disobedience, its hatred of God. Children reared in such an environment would imbibe and then practice similar idolatry, thus themselves expressing hateful disobedience. The difference in consequence served as both a warning and a motivation. The effect of a disobedient generation was to plant wickedness so deeply that it took several generations to reverse. It would be unrighteous and unjust for God to punish the non-offender because of the offender. The LORD God has stated in Proverbs that that type of judgment is an abomination to Him. He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD. Proverbs 17:15 The LORD God is the righteous Judge, just and holy is He. The very foundation of His throne is righteousness and justice.

Hello Jay, Good to hear from you. The historical background is regarding King Saul pursuit of David. The role play basically is Saul playing the role of the "king" of this world - the devil, with David playing the role of the "King of kings" - Christ - in His servant form as a man. Just as Saul, whom the LORD rejected, pursued David to keep God's anointed from taking his rightful place upon the throne. In the spirit realm, it was actually Satan's pursuit of the God-Man in an attempt to kill him and stop the prophecy of God regarding the SEED, from coming to pass. To understand the justice of David's request concerning his enemies, you have to go back to what the Law determined the penalties should be for someone who was found guilty of being a false witness. Reference Deut. 19:16-21 David wasn't seeking retribution nor vengeance, he was simply request the LORD to take up his cause because he was innocent. God's perfect justice performed and determined the retribution hence David leaned upon the righteousness of God's Law to defend him and restore his honor. This Psalm is basically about Christ the Servant and those who brought false accusations against Him. This is why you find similarities with Matthew 23. The Law Giver of Deut. 19 is pronouncing righteous judgment against His false accusers. Not only that, look at verses 26-29. This is a picture of Christ's accusers standing before Him at the Great White Throne Judgment! In that day, they will know that what He said to them was and is true. He told the Pharisees that He was God, the Great I AM. He told Pilot that He was and is a King, the King of the Jews. The soldiers mocked Him because of His claim to be King. They will all be ashamed. During their eternal stay in outer darkness, in the lake of fire, the worm of their conscience will eat at them forever for the way they treated the Holy One of God, the King of Glory, Christ Jesus the LORD! Oh Holy Father, glorify Your great, holy, and majestic name. As you have declared, that as You live and at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord, God, and King. Hollowed Father be Your name! Amen.

It’s absolutely ridiculous you haven’t received revelation that the negros are Israel. It’s completely silly now comon Kevin stop being uncle Tom. Are you eyes opens HONESTLY. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Romans 8:16 King James Version 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

No, God has not given me that revelation because He can't. God can only reveal the truth. The truth is Israel is Israel and there is nothing in the scriptures regardless of what version you read wherein God declared that negros are Israel. I am not a Jew. I will never be a Jew. God doesn't require me to become an Israelite to be born again. No one needs to be an Israelite however we all need someone to pay a ransom to God for our sins. We need a substitute who is equal with God in every way to die in my place for my sins. That will make me a child of God which is far greater than become an Israelite. Good luck with becoming an Israelite, you can have that. Give me Jesus, His death, burial, and resurrection as payment for my sin and His Spirit indwelling me to raise me from the dead. That is all I desire!

And you seem much a closed book but For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. 8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. 1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: 2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. 3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: 4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses. 5 One shall say, I am the LORD'S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname 👈🏿himself by the name of Israel.👈🏿 6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. 7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. 8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. @@jaysal6698 Of course I am. There is only one God, the Lord Jesus Christ. There is only one gospel, the death - burial - resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is only one truth, the scriptures as given by God through the Spirit of Christ There is only one way to this one God, the Lord Jesus Christ. There is only one hope of ever entering heaven, the blessed hope Christ Jesus the Lord. There is only one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Jesus Christ. @treasureineveryverse69 2 ай бұрын
Hello @jaysal6698. I said foundation however I should have said twelve gates named after the 12 tribes of Israel. The 12 foundations are named after the 12 Apostles. See scripture reference below from Revelation 21. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. 14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:12-14 With respect to today, the foundation of the church is the prophets and apostles with Christ Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone. 16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily. Isaiah 28:16 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’S DOING, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? Matthew 21:42 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22 With respect to people in the church this is what the scriptures declare. 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29 As far as Israel and Gentiles (non-Jews) this is what the scriptures declare. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth-in Him. Ephesians 1:7-10 11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh-who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands- 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:11-13 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Ephesians 2:14-18 Basically the entire gospel is God has determined to reveal Himself to all His creation. To reveal all His attributes the LORD God allowed sin and evil, not creating nor sanctioning it but simply allowing His creatures to depart His sovereign control in order to accomplish His purpose. To achieve this, God took on the body of a man, sacrificed that man prior to creating anything, raised that man from the dead, glorified that man, then spoke the worlds into existence. Hence God is now completely satisfied with the payment (the blood of the man Jesus) for every sin that will ever be committed, is now justified to offer unconditional grace to whomever He choses while upholding righteous judgment and wrath upon the guilty. God did this first with the angels. By not allowing some to depart His sovereign reign while allowing other to depart then judge those fallen angels who are guilty with righteous justice and future wrath without the possibility of gracious salvation. In the progress of the fulness of time, God did the same with mankind with one subtle change. God allowed all men to fall into sin. This allowed God to judge the guilty with righteous justice and future wrath without the possibility of gracious salvation just like the fallen angels. Yet maintain His own righteousness and justice when He justifies some of the guilty humans BECAUSE OF THE PRICE HE HIMSELF PAID FOR THEIR SIN. This plays out in the Old Testament until the birth of the Savior. God uses human history, selects a man for the SEED - Abraham, select a nation for the SEED - Israel, then selects a woman to deliver the SEED - a daughter of Eve - Mary. In the New Testament, God selects a people out of all nations - Gentiles, returns to redeem and fulfill the promise to the Elect nation - Israel, anoints His King over all nations - Christ Jesus the LORD, judges all fallen angels and guilty humans, then finally enters His creation to live amongst them throughout all eternity completely revealed in all His glory through the God-Man Jesus Christ the eternal King!

@treasureineveryverse69 2 ай бұрын
Hello @Theophanes-qw3fs and thanks for your comment. That's an interesting position you hold without any scriptures to validate your assessment of God's word. I have given hours of video evidences directly from the scriptures. Which of those scriptures do you refute? Please don't give me your opinion. Let's utilize the scriptures which is God's word and the only truth. I do want to address something you mentioned in your comment. You state that the trinity is the spirit, soul, and body. That obvious is a reference to this scripture. 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 However there are other scriptures that declares that the spirit, soul, and body can be divided. For example, this one in Hebrews: 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 If in fact according to the scriptures including Genesis 1 & 2, that the spirit, soul, and body can be divided and all parts are equal, then that will give us three Gods. Are you now declaring that the Bible teach that there are three Gods?

Please allow me to make a contribution about why God said "let US make MAN in OUR image, after OUR likeness: let THEM have DOMINION...." Two things emerge. God is ONE but He says US and MAN is also THEM. Why? Let's be mindful the Bible is a spiritual Book NOT intellectual. For instance Peter and John were "UNLEARNED and IGNORANT"(Acts.4v13) but BOLD too. They wrote the Bible too. Remember that. What God said in Gen1 He executed in Gen2... He FORMED man's BODY from the DUST of the GROUND and BREATHED into his nostrils the breath of life; MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL. Man is a TRIPARTITE being(body, spirit, soul)... A man has a masculine spirt, soul and body a woman has a feminish spirit, soul and body... The man and woman don't behave the same by virtue of their spirits NOT their soul because MAN is a LIVING SOUL not a LIVING SPIRIT according to the Bible. Pay attention. The animal kingdom only has the animal spirit. The dog have a dog spirit to behave like a dog... Only MAN have a SOUL that FELL in Eden because of SIN... Jesus taught us ; "what does it profit a MAN to win the whole world but LOOSE his soul".... It's the soul that's REDEEMED not the spirit. The soul has the nature of the spirit... There's confusion about the tripartite nature of man. Jesus the CHRIST according to Peter in Matt16v16 told Jesus that He was the CHRIST the Son of the living God! Meaning God has a Son according to John3v16! Hence in Gen1v26 God said "let US make MAN in OUR image, after OUR likeness". CHRIST was BEGOTTEN of His Father(John1v18) and was IN the BOSOM of His Father BEFORE the foundation of the Cosmos... Jesus was BORN of the VIRGIN Mary in Bethlehem... IJohn5v1 CLEARLY says ; "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the CHRIST is BORN of God : and EVERYONE that loveth Him(Father) that BEGAT loveth Him(CHRIST) also that is BEGOTTEN of Him(Father)".... God can't be clearer than that... Rev22v18 &19 WARNS us of the consequences of adding or taking away from the prophecy of this Book... The TESTIMONY of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy... Let us take heed HOW and WHAT we HEAR. Shalom.

Thanks for the comment. The scriptures make it clear that humans (mankind) are not a soul, but a spirit made in the image of God who is Spirit. The soul represents the seat of man’s appetites, the volition of man, which God calls His likeness in Genesis 1:26. Seat / Activities / Behavior Patterns Seat of appetites Activity of mind What you meditate on Seat of emotions Activity of will What you desire most Seat of passions Activity of character What you do most often These two, spirit and soul can be divided by God. If they can be divided, then they cannot be the same and they are not. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even TO THE DIVISION OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Listen to Paul confirm that they are not the same and can be divided. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may YOUR WHOLE SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to the scriptures we can worship the Lord only in our spirits. John 4:23-24 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” According to the scriptures we can glorify God only in our bodies and our spirits. 1 Corinthians 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in YOUR SPIRIT your spirit, which are God’s. Then what about our souls? It can only be renewed because it produces our thoughts, our true intents - the motive behind our thoughts, then instructs the body act out those thoughts in a manner that will ultimately achieve the true intent. The soul must be trained to obey the scriptures until the we are taken home with God. Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. What does that look like? Colossians 3:8-10 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, Psalms 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. Why? Philippians 4:9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. The LORD God is the Father of spirits not souls. Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? Numbers 16:22 Then they fell on their faces, and said, “O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and You be angry with all the congregation?” Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. Job 34:14-15 If He should set His heart on it, if He should gather to Himself His Spirit and His breath (both spirit the image of God and soul the likeness of God), ll flesh would perish together, And man would return to dust. Even the angels are spirits with souls but they are not made in God’s image and likeness. Psalms 104:4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire. Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirits. Hebrews 12:22-23 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, Hopefully that helps.

Hello @jaysal6698 Truly appreciate the question as it is important for all of God’s children to know Him and the more we know Him the more we love and adore Him. Check out episodes 380, 381, 382. I will be posting at least two addition videos this week. Let’s begin with an extremely important question, what type of Being is God? Not what you and I think or believe, that is immaterial and has no bearing on the truth. Does the Bible, the holy scriptures give us the answer to this question? Does it define God for us? Here’s the answer to the two forementioned questions. Yes, the scriptures do define what type of Being God is. Let’s list them. The first evidence of what type of Being God is in the scriptures is defined by God Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ. John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” God IS NOT A SPIRIT, God is Spirit. That is not a play on words. There is no other Being like God. Although angels and man a spiritual being they are not like God in the sense of His immortality. One of the best passages that explains this is in 1 Timothy. 1 Timothy 6:13-17 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, WHO ALONE HAS IMMORTALITY, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. God’s Being cannot cease to exist. Why not? God’s Being cannot not cease because His Being IS LIFE ITSELF. John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, What does Jesus mean by that? John 11:5-6 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. All others are created beings and can simply be spoken in and out of exitance as often as God pleases. John 5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. Not only that but God is the perfection of holiness which translate into light, the radiance of which translate into a consuming raging fire enfolding within itself. The scriptures call it the likeness of the glory of the LORD. This makes God in His native form UNAPPROACHABLE, not just by men and angels but by anything God can create. Creation itself cannot look upon God in His native Spirt form. This passage in Timothy reveals something else about the nature of God in His native Spirit form. God cannot be seen by any of His creation. Why not? The scriptures explain this by telling us that God’s essence is invisible. Invisible to any of His creation yet visible to Himself. John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. Exodus 33:20 But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” The Lord Jesus Himself declared this truth. Luke 24:39 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had SEEN A SPIRIT. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, FOR A SPIRIT (What about a spirit LORD? A spirit) DOES NOT HAVE FLESH AND BONES as you see I have.” We are now in a quagmire. Why is that? Because we have a confession from the Lord Jesus Himself that states just the opposite. John 6:46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. How is that possible? If God was a man, and I want to be extremely careful here, God is not a man but if He was, what would God look like? He would look and act exactly like the Man Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Matthew 11:27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Psalm 2:7 “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Why would God have to say this to a member of the Godhead? He wouldn’t and He didn’t. God said this to His own body. The body of God in essence is not Spirit, it is Spiritual. What’s the difference? I will let the Lord Jesus tell you what the difference between Himself and His Father is. Now listen to the Holy Spirit’s explanation. Psalm 113:4-6 The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the LORD our God, who dwells on high, who HUMBLES HIMSELF to behold (to create) the things that are in the heavens and in the earth? The question is how? How did God humble Himself prior to creating all things that are created? The Holy Spirit provides more details through Paul in the book of Philippians and Hebrews. Philippians 2:5-7 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Hello @JamesRichardWiley. You are correct, Jesus was raised Jewish. Jesus is still Jewish today. Jesus will always be Jewish because He claims to be the Jewish Messiah, the King of the Jews, and the Jewish God - Yahweh. John 14:7-11 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and FROM NOW ON YOU KNOW HIM (Yahweh) AND HAVE SEEN HIM (Yahweh).” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

But I'm confused. You are saying before the heavens and the earth were mad, Christ had already literally died and resurrected? Outside of creation itself? I'm sorry if I didn't get it. 2. I'd love to see how you go about making a proper study session. My thing is, I want to dive and inquire in scripture, but I'm not sure as to where to start. Do I need to have an interlineal bible, concordance, know about hebrew and greek grammar, etc. I'd love a video about this. God bless you and thank you, praiss the Lord for what he has put in your heart to do for him. ✝️

Hello @ricardochiesa9829 First, it is biblical that you do not accept anyone’s teaching until you are absolutely convinced that the scriptures teach it, especially something you don’t quite understand at the moment. You can also check out my series titled “How to reveal that Jesus is the One True God using only the scriptures.” kzbin.info/www/bejne/emGvhIKOf7J7fLc Acts 17:10-12 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY TO FIND OUT WHETHER THESE THINGS WERE SO. Therefore, many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men. Here are the scriptures to back up the teaching. God created the world through the Man Jesus Christ. This means that Jesus had to be alive with God in order to create the world. John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Phil. 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Col. 1:15-18 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Heb. 1:2-3 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, Jesus was glorified by the Father before creating the world. John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I HAD WITH YOU BEFORE THE WORLD WAS. Revelation 13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. 2 Tim. 1:9-10 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus BEFORE TIME BEGAN, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, Daniel seen the coronation of Christ before creation in Daniel 7:13-14 “I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they (the glory clouds) brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed. In Proverbs 8 beginning at verse 22 thru the end of the chapter, Jesus Himself explains this. 2. I'd love to see how you go about making a proper study session. My thing is, I want to dive and inquire in scripture, but I'm not sure as to where to start. Do I need to have an interlineal bible, concordance, know about hebrew and greek grammar, etc. I would recommend that you set aside a specific time each day to study the word of God. Invest in an electronic version with a minimum of two Bible versions (I recommend the MacArthur Study Bible, either the NASB or NKJV with Strongs concordance). This will allow you to look up almost every word in its original language either Hebrew or Greek. Most of these software programs give you several versions for free but not the study Bibles. Take a notebook as you systematically study each verse writing down the lessons taught, questions you may have for later research and cross references. The MacArthur Study Bible gives excellent commentary on almost every verse with many cross references. Ween yourself off listening to music while driving. Instead, listen to J. Vernon McGee thru the Bible program. His ministry has an app you can download. He is one of the best Bible expositors that I have ever heard. As you study the New Testament, listen to Dr. McGee go through the Old Testament. You can also listen to wonderful men of God like John MacArthur and Dr. John Barnett. Don’t forget about me. LOL. Finally, I do have several videos where I discuss how to study. You can search the playlists. One playlist I would recommend is titled “Laying the Foundations for proper Bible study.” There are 96 videos in this particular playlist which gives you the 15 things to know that will help you view the scriptures the way God wrote them through men. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJy2mGapmNBmhqs

@@treasureineveryverse69 First of all. Thanks for taking the time to quote all of these wonderful scripture verses. I'm really thankful for this. I suppose what still remains confusing to me, is, if in Revelation 13:8, this is referring to the idea that since God is omniscient, knowing the future, he knew his son ( Christ being an expression and person ofGod himself in the flesh of course) to as you say, reveal to us his attributes and the spiritual realities that he wants us to know to invite us to participate in his righteousness, or, if its meant to be understood literally as an event ( which doesn't feel right to me) as in the idea that Jesus died before time began? As for my second question, I do have a concern. Of course, I am new in the faith and I have to precisely, dive deeper into scripture, but as of now, I'm not a calvinist. I know the Mac Arthur bible inclined towards Calvinistic commentaries on the topics of predestination and these sorts of things relating to gods sovereign qualities. Do you feel that regardless, there is still value on it even if I'm not Calvinistic? In any case I will check out the playlist on how to the study as well as your videos. Thank you and god bless you.

@@ricardochiesa9829 This is understood and the natural response for us humans. We must be mindful that the LORD God wrote the scriptures from two perspectives therefore it must be read from both, or it will lead to confusion. The two perspectives are from God’s view without time, and our view within the capsule of time. From God’s perspective, the scriptures are history written in advance as there is no such thing as time with God. He is the great I am, not the great I will be, nor the great I was. The Lord sees all things from beginning to end, at once all the time, He inhabits eternity. Unfortunately, we have a limited view which limits our knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Let me assist with the fact that God - Jesus, the Man, had to be offered prior to creation. Here are a few questions: 1. Is God holy? Yes 8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” Revelation 4:8 2. Is God omnipresent? Yes 15 For thus says the High and Lofty One WHO INHABITS ETERNITY, WHOSE NAME IS HOLY: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15 3. Is it possible for a holy God who is always present to create anything that has even the potential to sin then look thereupon? No 12 Are You not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O LORD, You have appointed them for judgment; O Rock, You have marked them for correction. 13 YOU ARE OF PURER EYES THAN TO BEHOLD EVIL AND CANNOT LOOK ON WICKEDNESS. Why do You look on those who deal treacherously, and hold Your tongue when the wicked devours a person more righteous than he? Habakkuk 1:12-13 Then how can this Holy God, who sees, hears, and knows all things, at all times, not see the evil and wickedness that is going on today, that has transpired since Adam and Eve, and that will happen in the future according to His own words? You and I see evil all around us and every time we look in the mirror. The devil and his minion of demons are committing evil every second of every day. Every human is sinning every second of every day. Then please explain to me how a Holy God whose very throne is the foundation of righteousness and justice can allow any of us to exist? 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face. Psalms 89:14 2 Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Psalms 97:2 If He simply overlooks evil and sins then He is not holy, He is not righteous, and He is not just but He constantly proclaims that He is all these things. Both cannot be true! Then how, someone please explain to me how can a holy, righteous, and just God allow evil and sin to exist in His creation, first in heaven where 1/3 of the angels sinned and here on earth where every single human being has sinned and continues to sin. Listen to the scriptures: 15 He who justifies the wicked (angels and humans), and he who condemns the just (Jesus), both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD. Proverbs 17:15 7 Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I (the LORD God) will not justify the wicked. Exodus 23:7 Wait a minute, didn’t God Himself do just that? Yes! 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, Romans 4:5 Wait! What? How can that be? The LORD God did something that He declared to be an abomination to Himself. He justified the wicked and ungodly!!!! Do you know the answer to these things? God does and has given it to us in the scriptures. Here is God’s solution: 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 BEING JUSTIFED FREELY BY HIS GRACE THROUGH THE REDEMPTION THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS, When did this redemption take place? It could not be AFTER the angels and humans sinned. Why not? Because God is too holy to look upon sin without destroying the sinner. His righteousness and justice demands instant punishment. The soul that sin shall die. So when did this redemption take place? 25 whom God SET FORTH (set forth when? From the Beginning!) as a propitiation (satisfaction) by His blood, (The question is, when did this happen? 3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’” ALTHOUGH THE WORKS (what works? The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ) WERE FINISHED FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. Hebrews 4:3 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD: Matthew 25:34 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me (because Jesus had already died for the sheep.) BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. John 17:24 Why does the Father love You, Jesus? 17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. John 10:17 20 He indeed was foreordained (the cross happened) BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, but was manifest (became a reality in time) in these last days for you 1 Peter 1:20 When did God chose His children? 4 just as He CHOSE US (where?) IN HIM (when?) BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1:4 Back to Romans 3. 25through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, (now the Lord explains how all this is became possible) BECAUSE IN HIS FORBEARANCE (how was God able to forebear evil? Through the redemption and propitiation of the blood of Christ! There is no other means for payment of sins. This allowed God to be patient and pass over sins until Jesus finally came and died in the fullness of time.) God had passed over the sins that were previously committed (previously committed by whom? The angels and humans prior to the cross.), 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness (God’s righteousness is fully on display when He allows sinners to live even though they should die for just one sin! This was made possible only by the shedding of the blood of Christ.), that He (God) might be just (maintain His holy and righteous standards) and the justifier (able to justly declare the sinner who is worthy of death, a pardoned sinner. What made this possible?) of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:21-26

@@ricardochiesa9829 You are welcome and it’s my pleasure to assist our Heavenly Father’s children to know their Father. With respect to your second question, I don’t believe in Calvinism or Arminianism. I only believe what the scriptures teach. No more, no less. As a created being, I understand that God is sovereign. What does that mean? Well, it’s very simple from a scriptural perspective. 9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear and say, “It is truth.” 10 “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior. 12 I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, and there was no foreign god among you; therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the LORD, “that I am God. 13 Indeed before the day was, I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” Isaiah 43:9-13 4 And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. 35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” Daniel 4:34-35 Now this God, the God of the scriptures, not Calvin, MacArthur, myself nor any other human or angel, said this concerning salvation. 25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead (in trespasses and sins) will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those (and only those) who hear will live. John 5:25 Now we know according to the scriptures that all humans are conceived in sin and dead in our trespasses and sins. The question becomes, how can a dead person hear anything? They can’t until they are given life by God. 1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, Ephesians 2:1 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), Ephesians 2:4-5 When did God make the dead sinner alive? After the sinner repented? After the sinner said a prayer? No, that is not what the scriptures teach. God MADE the sinner alive when the sinner was dead! By the way, dead people cannot repent, and they cannot pray. 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 WHO HAS SAVED US AND CALLED US WITH A HOLY CALLING, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 2 Timothy 1:8-9 To explain further would take much writing but you can do a word search on “called, calling, elect, chose, chosen, and remnant.” What you will find is that God chose some to save some of the undeserving wicked ungodly sinners and the rest He leaves in their guilty state for judgment. All deserve hell but in His wisdom for the praise of the glory of His grace and the glory of His name, God has determined to be Savior to those whom He chose. 9 For God DID NOT APPOINT US to wrath, but TO OBTAIN SALVATION through our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 5:9 13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord (Why are you giving thanks Paul?), BECAUSE GOD (who’s doing this? God!) (when did God do this?) FROM THE BEGINNING (do you mean when I prayed and repented? NO!) (okay, what did God do? God) CHOSE YOU FOR SALVATION (What? That’s right, God chose you, you did not choose God.) (how did God do that?) THROUGH SANCTIFICATION BY THE SPIRIT AND BELIEF IN THE TRUTH (how did God do that?) 14 to which HE CALLED YOU BY OUR (when one of God’s children told you the) gospel, (so what’s the purpose for God choosing us for salvation?) FOR THE OBTAINING OF THE GLORY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. (You can’t get it any other way!) 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 I did an eight part series on this topic titled Episode 69: Part 1_Does God predestine some to heaven and others to hell? If you listen to the entire series, I believe the Lord will open your heart to receive the truth as it is presented in the scriptures. Please do not believe me or any other human, believe the scriptures. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpqaqoCwjNaoY8U

Your response is expected nevertheless here's the scriptural response to your comment. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man DOES NOT RECEIVE THE THINGS of the Spirit of God, for THEY ARE FOOLISHNESS TO HIM; NOR CAN HE KNOW THEM, because they are spiritually discerned. 2 Corinthians 4:1-6 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. BUT EVEN IF OUR GOSPEL IS VEILED, IT IS VEILED TO THOSE WHO ARE PERISHING, WHOSE MINDS THE god OF THIS AGE HAS BLINDED, WHO DO NOT BELIEVE, LEST THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL OF THE GLORY OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE ON THEM. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. TO THE ONE WE ARE THE AROMA OF DEATH LEADING TO DEATH, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ. John 8:43-45 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.

Hello, apologies in advance for the lengthy reply however you asked several questions. Your questions are in quotations. “I guess the problem is guilty of what?” God the Creator of all things declares that we are all guilty of breaking His holy and righteous standards which led to us disobeying His commandments. Here is God’s pronouncement of guilt upon all humans from conception. Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin. Romans 3:9-18 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” “Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; “The poison of asps is under their lips”; “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways; And the way of peace they have not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes The question is how did we all become sinners? We all became sinners because the first man and woman whom God created sinned. Through their genes, through natural birth, they passed on the DNA of sin to all their children. Romans 5:12 Death in Adam, Life in Christ (Gen. 3:1-19) Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned- For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. “Why does Jesus have to come? It makes no sense.” Jesus, who is God the Creator, came into the world as a Man for the soul purpose of paying God’s required punishment for other people’s sin. Romans 5: Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” God requires that all humans remain in the original condition in which they were created, as holy, as righteous, and as perfect as God is. When Adam sinned, he caused all future humans to be born sinners. All sinners are unholy, unrighteous, and imperfect which is just the opposite of God. Because of this, God declares that all sinners must be punished for their sin unfortunately for humans God is eternal hence they must pay the penalty forever. Knowing man’s inability to pay the just punishment for being a sinner, God determined to take the punishment of the sinner’s place. God, in the body of the Man Jesus Christ, took the full wrath of God upon His own body for every sinner. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. “How could He do that?” Because Jesus, the Man, is God the Creator. Jesus is in every way equal with God. Jesus is equal with God in being eternal, equal with God in holiness, equal with God in righteousness, and equal with God in perfection. Colossians 1:15 He (Jesus) is the image (visible part) of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Philippians 2:5-6 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, “What do we need to be justified for?” To be justified means to be declared not guilty of an offence (crime) that you are guilty of. Because we are guilty the only method of justifying our release is if someone else pay the penalty for our guilty plea. In other words, God punished Jesus with the punishment we deserved even though He was innocent, and we were guilty. God punished Jesus as if He was the person who was born in sin and committed our sins. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He (God) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, everyone, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, “I hear it's just your center.” No, I do not want anyone to suffer the wrath of God in hell. If it was up to me, everyone would go to heaven. Neither do I have any say nor control over who receives God’s wrath. God has declared this to be true in His word. Everyone is free to not believe that this is true. What you are not free to do after your choice is made is to control the consequences of your choice. That ultimate decision belongs to the Sovereign LORD God alone. “What does that mean you need to be saved?” To be saved in the Bible which is called salvation means to be delivered from the penalty of sin which is physical death, spiritual death (separation from the life which is only available in God hence separated from God), and eternal death which is being casted into a place called outer darkness into a lake of fire. Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from (the penalty of) their sins.” Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name (other than Jesus) under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Galatians 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, “What does that mean, saved from what? What do we need to be safe from? That is never clearly explained and any teaching.” We are being saved from the wrath of the holy, righteous, and just God. In other words, we are being saved from God and God’s wrath against sinners. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, Romans 2:5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from (God’s) wrath through Him. Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Colossians 3:6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. What am I a sinner? Yes, from conception and birth. We are all born sinners then because we are sinners, we are guilty of committing sins against God. Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Galatians 3:22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. “What? What is that?” Sin is not remaining in the original created state in which God the Creator created you. By being conceived in sin, you are born outside of the original created state in which God created humans. 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. “Thanks.” No, thank you for the questions. I hope you find the answerers satisfactory, if not please reply for further clarity.

Thank you for this series of videos helping to understand the faith. I have another question about 1 Kings chapter 9 verses 3-9. Are these verses equivalent to psalms 23, Jesus on the cross asking God why he has forsaken him, and the background for salvation/the gospel? What are your insights for these scriptures?

Hello Jay, After taking a close look at 1 Kings 9:3-9 regarding God's conversation with Solomon, the answer to your questions are all the same, no. It has no connection to Ps. 23, the Cross, or the gospel. Everything in that passage is regarding the three covenants the Lord made with Israel. The Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic (Palestinian) Covenant, and the David Covenant. Study each of those covenants and you will see exactly why the Lord gave Solomon those instructions. None of them are new.

Hello Jay, Apologies for the delayed response but your last query was removed. Not certain if you removed it or KZbin. Nonetheless, here is my response. Your question was: Hi Kevin. I’ve been studying 2 Corinthians 12, and I was wondering if you have any verses I can reference to further study the chapter, explain what the thorns are that are given to us and why, and how the subject of this chapter is in relation to salvation? Also what does Jesus explain about thorns in the gospels, what is the meaning of what he says to Paul within the chapter, and how are they both expressed in his passion? Thank you. Thorns always represent evil in scripture. This evil comes in three forms. 1. The World (1 John 2:15-17) 2. The Flesh (Gal. 5:13-22) 3. The Devil (1 Peter 5:5-11) There are two reasons for thorns given in the scriptures: 1. sins - allowing things in our lives that displease God 2. discipline - God placing things in our lives to keep us humble, away from committing sins, or correction for committing sins. None of God's disciplines are pleasant. Let's use Israel as an example. Numbers 33:50-56 Remember Canaan represents the flesh. Joshua 23:1-16 Remember the nations represents the world's system against God (Psalms 2) Isaiah 55 This is God bringing restoration after true repentance and a return to loving obedience. Here are examples in the church. Here's an instance where there was a believer in the church who was committing sexual immorality. 1 Cor. 5:4-5 God delivered him over to Satan for the destruction of the body. In what way? Sexual disease and demonic opprression. This guy repented and God restored him in 2 Cor. 2:3-11 but there were members in the church that wanted their pound of flesh. Acts 5:1-11 There were two believers who committed the sin unto death. God killed them to keep the early church pure and holy. There is sin unto death whereby the Lord determines that it is best to remove the offending child by taking him/her home to heaven to keep them from further sins. The sin unto death can be any kind of sin. 1 John 5:16-17 1 Cor. 11:27-34 In this example God disciplines many members of the Corinthian church for their irreverance towards God. They were bringing their old practices in the worship of pagan false gods to Lord's ordinance of communion. God's discipline was sickness, broken bodies, and physical death (sleep). Here is an excerpt from my favorite study Bible, the MacAuthor Study Bible.12:7 the revelations. See note on v. 1. a thorn in the flesh . . . a messenger of Satan. This was sent to him by God, to keep him humble. As with Job, Satan was the immediate cause, but God was the ultimate cause. Paul’s use of the word “messenger” (Gr., angelos, or angel) from Satan suggests the “thorn in the flesh” (lit. “a stake for the flesh”) was a demonized person, not a physical illness. Of the 175 uses of the Gr. word, angelos, in the NT, most are in reference to angels. This angel was from Satan, a demon afflicting Paul. Possibly, the best explanation for this demon was that he was indwelling the ring leader of the Corinthian conspiracy, the leader of the false apostles. Through them he was tearing up Paul’s beloved church and thus driving a painful stake through Paul. Further support for this view comes from the context of chaps. 10-13, which is one of fighting adversaries (the false prophets). The verb translated “buffet” always refers to ill treatment from other people (Matt. 26:67; Mark 14:65; 1 Cor. 4:11; 1 Pet. 2:20). Finally, the OT describes Israel’s personal opponents as thorns (Num. 33:55; Josh. 23:13; Judg. 2:3; Ezek. 28:24). lest I be exalted above measure. The assault was painful, but purposeful. God was allowing Satan to bring this severe trouble in the church for the purpose of humbling Paul who, having had so many revelations, including a trip to heaven and back, would have been proud. The demonized false apostle attacking his work in Corinth was the stake being driven through his otherwise proud flesh. 12:8 I pleaded . . . three times. Paul, longing for relief from this painful hindrance to his ministry, went to his Lord, begging Him (the use of the definite article with “Lord” shows Paul’s prayer was directed to Jesus) to remove it. The demons are only subject to His authority. The 3-fold repetition of Paul’s request parallels that of Jesus in Gethsemane (Mark 14:32-41). Both Paul and Jesus had their requests denied, but were granted grace to endure their ordeals. 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you. The present tense of the verb translated “is sufficient” reveals the constant availability of divine grace. God would not remove the thorn, as Paul had requested, but would continually supply him with grace to endure it (cf. 1 Cor. 15:10; Phil. 4:13; Col. 1:29). My strength is made perfect in weakness. Cf. 4:7-11. The weaker the human instrument, the more clearly God’s grace shines forth. 12:9, 10 Paul took no pleasure in the pain itself, but rejoiced in the power of Christ that it revealed through him.

You are welcome. Our Father knows the heart of His children. It doesn't surprise me that He placed the same scriptures in our hearts. It has happened to me numerous times with other teachers and preachers.

Hi, you mentioned that the devils mind is to kill God, what is it then if a believer still has lustful and evil thoughts but has repentance?

I had hoped Christian videos would have moved on from threatening hell to non-believers and focussed on a more positive message. It is an ordeal having to listen to this garbage. It is this type of fear video that drives people to atheism and rightly so. We all get eternal life according to Christian doctrine, either you spend all eternity in hell or you spend it worshipping and praising the god that wilfully permits so much evil and suffering in the world. Both outcomes seem equally unappealing. Reject all this Christian nonsense and live the only life that you're guaranteed to get.

There is no greater positive message than the gospel of Jesus Christ. God, pays the penalty for mankind’s sin that He may save mankind. The negative message comes from mankind’s utter disregard for God’s offer of salvation. Most people believe what you believe therefore those that believe what you believe cannot complain about the consequences of that choice. So let me get this straight, you get to tell the Creator what He should and shouldn’t do. You get to tell God what message He should convey to His creatures. You get to be God’s judge. It’s okay to believe that this is the only life you will have but that doesn’t make it true. For as it is written, it is appointed once for a man to die but after this, the judgment. I wonder if you will tell God to His face that His word is garbage. That will be an interesting conversation.

Those who die in God's grace and friendship and are perfectly purified live forever with Christ. They are like God forever, for they "see him as he is", face to face. (1.John 3:2 1.Cor. 13;12 Rev. 22:4)
