I have the Torras O-stand case that is very similar to this, and I love it. The only issue is that the magnetic ring often interferes with MagSafe charging. The green ring appears and the phone appears to be charging, but it actually gets warm and loses charge overnight. Torras's website says that this is meant to be used with Apple's MagSafe puck, but that is the exact same MagSafe charger than I was using.

Can confirm - the buttons are horrible, camera button cutout is too deep and overall phone with this case feels much chunkier than with original apple leather one for previous generations.

I have this exact case for my desert titanium 16 Pro Max. I love the way it feels in my hand and the nice contrast the color looks with my phone. It's almost like you don't have a case on the phone even though you have a really protective case on it.

Nice review, your findings are similar to mine. Though my opinion is the sides are too slick. I'm fine with the back being on the slick side, but the sides in hand need more texture or grip. That would help out immensely. I have several cases I've been using and still seem to be using this one more than any of the others.

All desert titanium color fans.... remember the iPhone XS in Gold ? So, whats premium here on the desert titanium one ? Apple should really consider making few more color options for their premium pro lineup. Anyway, I got myself the black titanium one. Cheers

Great video, thanks for making it. I just want to give my input below on the Rhinoshield case. I cannot recommend the Rhinoshield at all. I’ve had it on my iPhone since launch and anytime I even gently ding the side of my phone on something a permanent mark is left on the side of my iPhone. For this reason I would say avoid it at all costs unless cosmetic issues don’t bother you. Me personally nearly £50 for a case that doesn't stop damage to your phone from a light impact is a no go. Just wanted to give my experience with it since I’ve been using it a good while.

Thanks for the great review. The Sheath used to be a minimalist case but now weighs 50 grams in the 16PM size which takes it far outside that category in my opinion. There is a lot to like about the Sheath (bought one every year since they started), but the increased weight and uncomfortable camera control cutout made it a pass for me this year.

The screen lip may look like it wouldn’t be enough, but it is. These slim cases have minimal lips. You can place your iPhone face down and your screen will be protected. Why would they make such a beautiful design, that the lip wouldn’t be enough to place front side down on a table?? 😊

Do you think Apple Smart Folio Case would work with the ESR Classic Series Clear Case?

If you like this case but your looking for more of a front lip you should try The Ridge Kevlar case. I didn't care for their leather versions but I love the Kevlar version.

There is absolutely no compatibility with the frost black T magsafe case with a glass screenprotector? I see that at the edges it becomes loose. When my iphone is off u see the lines. Is their a solution for maybe a compatible screenprotector??

It’s bizarre that the Military Grade case has such a minimal screen lip. The case is so nice in every other aspect, it’s hard to understand how they let that error slip through. A definite pass for me.

I ordered pitaka armor pro at the pre order and had a problem with the front lip. I reached them and they sent me an updated version of the case for free. Got it 3 days ago and still no protection at the front lip. Kind of disappointing because I will not use this case because of it
