Gordon had many opportunities for parts buy as usual schedule timing often interfered when roles like this came along. Thankfully Gordon got the roles we know him in and noone could sing anything given him better than he. Gordon's voice was God given and he was perfection in every song he sings. Noone can even come close to his range, tone, and deliverance. I'm tired of everyone comparing Gordon yo Frank Sinatra. Not even in the ballpark.

I’m 80 and remember hearing this son on the radio as a very young child. Mother would sing along. I believe it was Martin Block.
