I hear black-capped chickadee all the time and it's melodious compared to other birds. I'll remember this place in upstate New York if I hear black capped chickadees in future for sure.

Wow this is pretty cool. I was looking for the bird that I've heard in the early mornings here in Brooklyn. It isn't here but now I am going to listen differently. :-) Thank you.

This is a good video, but it is far from complete. There are sooooo many birds common to NYC. It would be great if you could do another video with lots more sounds. It would be a great resource for a lot of people. :)

Here in New Hampshire we have lots of Eastern Phoebes, Blue Jays, Black-Capped Chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, and White-Throated Sparrows. Thanks for the video.

This is really neat! I just started bird watching a year or so ago, and I can identify the birds by sight for the most part. Now I'm interested in identifying them through sound. This helped. Thank you for posting this.

I woke up this morning to a loud and persistent bird call. A sound I am all too familiar with in the spring morning in NYC. I decided to seek out what the call was. Which lead me to your posting and the revelation that it was a blue jay! Thank you.

Same! Sort of, the main one I'm trying to figure out is still a mystery though. It's similar to the last Jay call but faster and higher pitched. DX Maybe it's just a Jay making a unique call
