Hired a Cruise Control recently in the GC while visiting from NZ and was really impressed. Super responsive for its size. Can you do this poor Kiwi a good deal? :)

YEAR is 1974...me, I'm a musician and surfer...riding at the time a Rick 7.6 single fin..rounded pin. My girlfriend was an actress and was on set with our Friend Deborah Walley doin some kind of surf thing...Clyde Beatty Jr. showed up with the surfboards..and among them was a 6.4 twinner..a fish..she was talking it up with him and told him her boyfriend was a Malibu surfer..he pulled out that board and said give this to him and see i he likes it..when I got it I was perplexed cause it was so short..I'm 6. 3 probably 190..at the time..anyway I started riding it and was absolutely blown away...I rode that board for 3 years..couple hot coats..till it rotted..what a great board with excellent graphics...my surfing went up a couple of notches because of that board..what a trip that was..my buddies were tripping but the thruster was just on the horizon so I got there at the right time.
