Another massive group slug piece in Duskmourn is Razorkin Needlehead. Any time an opponent draws a card, it deals them one damage, and its a red source if you want to go heavy into torbrand type effects. Zo-Zu is another must add. I like chucking in a phyrexian reclimation with how many creatures this deck runs. The rakdos beholder would be decent to add in this deck for more chaos at the table. Also, this deck can get rude with sanguine bond and exquisite blood with tutors for quick infinite dmg combos. Running bond for the combo is kinda lame especially with tutors, but exquisite blood is a great card for this deck.

seance is 100% a cut card in this deck, but i do agree that certain decks will love this card and it will probably be a staple.

sadistic shell game is one of the most fun cards ever printed for commander. The chaos injection to the table that it adds is so great.

My guy, I don't want to be negative or anything, just giving my 2 cents: at this point, just go ahead with the upgrade videos, I aint watching 40 mins of this at this point in time, it's been almost 2 weeks since these decks were all previewed, I'd rather see this either when they got previewed or have more bloomburrow brews/start with the Duskmourn upgrades already

Do you have any comments on the Nadu ban in commander? :x I just upgraded the precon and now we have to replace Nadu with something else (unless rule 0 conversation says otherwise :D). What could be put in the deck instead of Nadu?

This may be a dumb question, but have you considered swapping eowyn as the commander for Aragorn and focusing more on the monarchy for card advantage? It gives the same extra card per turn and starts one turn earlier, with Aragorn’s ability making it relatively easy to keep the monarchy. Also, it enables game ending alpha strikes as early as turn 5 or 6 with the no blocking ability.

Thanks for turning me onto Souls of the Lost for my build, but here are some inclusions of note that I think are worth possibly slotting in. Feldon of the Third Path and Realmbreaker the Invasion Tree are both under $1, while Doom Whisperer, Persist, Greater Good, Death's Shadow, Exhume and Tainted Strike (if that's how you want to play) are all under $5.

I disagree with calling it a generic simic value deck. I describe generic simic legends as cards like Aesi or Tatyova. Zimone gives you a deck restriction and you really have to build the entire deck with her ability in mind. I feel like simic has a huge stigma that has been powercrept by other colors. It's easy to call most legends made these days as just "value commanders". I have been wanting a manifesting matters commander since Khans (Omarthis wasn't it) and we finally have it AND it's in the correct colors. I think there are a LOT of strengths with hidden information, the thoughts of "he pitched that cool thing, what did he keep?" type stuff. However, the precon out of the box needs a lot of upgrades to consistently make Zimone has degenerate as she can become.

Is that deck after your upgrades can compete with cEDH decks?

I agree with your evaluation. Card draw is a bit lower and less automatically repeatable than optimal, more enchantments would be nice. But other than that, it looks nice and fun. Some of the reprints and new cards really surprised me in terms of their power (Athreos, extravagant replication, one with the multiverse, redress fate) o that's a plus. While it lacks one card win conditions it has some disgusting plays to really frustrate your opponents by just being a nuissance that is way to difficult to stop. In other words: Exactly what an esper deck wants to do 😂

Note the 4 toughness combined with her colors; whether it's by pop or target killing Ami' is gonna be a war with the defensive migraines she'll be spewing. The backup commander will build on this nicely and be great after she dies enough. . .

I agree on Disorienting Choice. Except not with you. Its great. Its a toolbox card and great for politics.

I think a lot of people are evaluating this commander as "it has to reduce a big enchantment by 4 generic". Honestly, I think people should instead read her ability as "reduces it by UP TO 4 generic". You're not solely relying on the commander and can reliably lay down cheap to mid-size enchantments to play more consistently.
