Assisted Living is an excellent choice for seniors who desire all of the benefits of a senior community but want a bit extra assistance with everyday responsibilities. For example, my father presently resides at silvergaterr. Housekeeping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, prescription administration, transportation, and other services are available in Assisted Living complexes. It is critical to select an Assisting Living facility that emphasizes individual choice and freedom.

The world is up-side-down with Covid19 now. How can we know what is happening to our loved ones. Can we trust the staff? They switched from 1 visit a week for 2 people to once a month saying it's too time on the staff.

This seemed to just say "yeah, it makes older people a prime target, they could have x y z and that makes them a target" but it didn't really seem to answer the question. To be clear, *I* know why it is, but i'm looking for videos to show someone else who doesn't

Thanks so much for the feedback. Yes, the big reason is due to a weaker immune system and/or an existing medical condition. We are putting out a daily series of videos which include living in a senior facility and steps on how to lower your risk of getting the disease.

Great video. I'd argue, that just because residents are in their rooms, doesn't necessarily point to a lack-luster activity program. Choice is key. If that is a resident's preference, great! I think if you find staff inviting/encouraging residents to come to activities, that is even better. But it might be hard to time your visit to see such a moment. Thanks for sharing!

People need to look at the difference between rates of dementia/alzheimer's disease in the 1950's as opposed to today. Dr. Fortanasce mentions how much the rate of this disease has increased. It appears it goes hand in hand with the introduction of Statin Drugs as well as the reckless over-prescribing of psychiatric drugs; both groups of drugs raising the risk of type 2 diabetes, obesity and dementia. Imagine that! Get off the Pharmaceutical merry-go-round!

I saw Dr. Fortanasce on EWTN and his story about his father is very touching..my great-grandmother must have had Alzheimer's but back then it was not diagnosed. My question to Dr. Fortanasce is; Is Alzheimer's heredity or does it just mainly occur from our lifestyles?
