Don’t feel bad. Science is tough but you can do it 😊 I took A&P 3 yes 3 times before I caught on. Just don’t give up. I’m glad you found something helpful to you. I wish they had an algebra boot camp 😂

My second time taking it and A&P I… if I fail again I’ve decided maybe it isn’t for me. It’s heartbreaking. Usually really good about Vocab/Grammar/Reading and still failed? I can’t imagine doing anything else. I’ve wanted this since I was a child but I become really hard on myself and become depressed and I can’t do it to myself anymore. Taking HESI on September 9th. ❤

That’s nice that u laid out these study tools for us . I’m nervous I have to take reading comprehension and vocabulary that’s it . Was all these vocabulary words u provided on the test ? How long is the reading comprehension?

Hey, some of the words were on the test, but they are definitely worth studying because you never know what they will test you on. The reading comprehension is time consuming because you have to read. Don't be nervous! Take your time.

I also have a different degree prior to nursing and because I was a young mom I didn’t get a chance to take advantage of everything that college had to offer the first time around. Congrats on your success all wins big and small and worth celebrating. I too am enrolled at WGU BSN program and baby is it hard! Juggling being a single mom of 2 young kids, working full time school full time and not to add a social life! I feel like pulling my hair out but I turned to KZbin for motivation and you were one of the videos that has helped me through. I’m trying to finish up AP1 now which is my second class since starting and has taken me longer to complete than I would’ve liked but I’m pushing this thing out. We got big things to do! 🎉

I’ve heard WGU is great to get your BSN at a faster pace but I have a question over clinicals… is that also quicker to get that at a local community college or do they go at the same pace and only the online portion is what’s faster at WGU because it’s on your own pace? Thank you for posting!

In the pre clinical / pre reqs portion, yes you finish as many classes as you can. In the clinical portion no, I’m sure you can start the clinical portion ahead of time, but it depends on financial aid & the start date of the clinical portion.

Hey girl! When you are taking your pre-reqs you can go as fast as you like, but during clinical nursing terms you cannot. It is a minimum of 4 terms. Scheduling depends on the school, they let you know when you can start clinicals. I hope this helps💗

Girl I have been soooo interested in WGU for the last month now. I did apply but so terrified to actually go through with everything else with a full time job and a young daughter. What is concerning me is the clinical portion of this program. I haven’t really found a KZbinr that went over how WGU schedules those labs and clinicals so once that time comes for you , a video detailing the schedule would help greatly and be so appreciated! You are welcome! Yes, you do have to study and take the HESI A2 before you get accepted into the program. No, you don't have to take pre-classes, I just decided to because the classes are self paced and the more you know the more you can skip.

I'm asking because im noticing all the schools im considering want either the TEAS or HESI taken at their school. That's money. I have to keep paying to retake & pass the same exams! No, If you recently took it and passed you can use your scores to apply to WGU. You should definitely apply.

No, I took it from home. When you apply to WGU they give you the information you need to take the HESI that they require.
