Why did you split the mesh into all those zones , it won’t give you the right results if you don’t split?

Splitting the mesh improves accuracy by refining critical areas and optimizing the simulation. It ensures detailed results where needed without wasting computational resources. Thank you for your comment 🙂

Hi! Your videos are a great find for me. thank you very much! But I ran into a serious problem to perform my calculations. So, I created an internal volume on the Dy200 and the same length. I set the following parameters: The number of layers is 25 The height of the first cell is 0.005 mm The degree of growth is 1.2 When generating the grid, the generator writes that everything was completed successfully, but when I save the file with the extension.msh for Fluent, then negative volumes are formed

These 5 solid parts consisting of copy meshes work as 1 solid body during analysis or is there a contact I need to define there?
@Learn-Engineering
@Learn-Engineering 3 ай бұрын
To define contacts for these geometries, ensure that the shared topology between bodies is specified so that nodes at common surfaces are merged automatically. If shared topology is not applied, you will need to manually/automatically apply contact definitions.

Should I slice and project curve surfaces separately for other parts? or is it possible to make a mesh copy since the other parts are the same size?
@Learn-Engineering

You can copy the same part and apply different transformations to create a cube, and then merge the nodes for the common surfaces.

Thanks your return😇 For this example, can I delete the unmeshed 7 parts then move and copy this meshed part(you made in video) in the design section so that they can be meshed as well?
@Learn-Engineering
@Learn-Engineering 3 ай бұрын
@@NurselKutuk You can create a cube from this single part in two ways: either delete the remaining seven un-meshed parts and duplicate the mesh part, placing it at the desired locations, or export the mesh part and import it eight times into an external model (in component systems) tool, applying the necessary transformations to assemble the cube. If you need a detailed tutorial on how to import and transform the part using an external model, we can provide one, but please note it will take approximately one day to prepare.

There are more than 1 blocking files, how can I export files to external model then static structural with no losing components?
@Learn-Engineering
@Learn-Engineering 4 ай бұрын
To export your SpaceClaim model with mesh data to an external simulation tool, save your model and then export it as an `.inp` file by right clicking on it. This format includes both geometry and mesh information. Import the `.inp` file, and verify that all components and mesh data are correctly retained before proceeding with your static structural analysis. By default, all will be placed at previous defined location only.

I tried your command but still components looks like 1 body in static structural model part. I want all the parts that I created in spaceclaim separately, even the non-mesh elements, to be visible in the static structural model section. How can I do this so how should I record it?
@NurselKutuk
@NurselKutuk 3 ай бұрын
Can I do it like this? I do all the operations (shape and mesh) using the geometry module as you did. Then I drag the geometry for the static structural model onto the model section. In this way, separate parts and mesh appeared. I'm not sure if it's correct, do you think it's correct?

To extract the outer perimeter of an STL model in FreeCAD, first import the STL file and convert it to a shape using the `Part` workbench. Then, create a new sketch on the desired plane where you want the perimeter. Switch to the `Draft` workbench to upgrade the shape to edges, and finally use `Draft` > `Draft to Sketch` to convert those edges into a sketch. This will give you the perimeter of the STL model on the selected plane. If you have any difficulties or need further clarification, please provide more details about the specific issues you're encountering.

If you take a look at all the 2nd hand 3D printers for sale that should tell you how many people have a go and give up.
