I'm having a problem with my cloth physics here. I have an animal character with a hanging loincloth that's supposed to hang naturally. I test out the rig, the back cloth colliides with the character's tail, as to be expected. However, if I animate the tail to raise or lower or something, the cloth continues to react like the tail is in its default position, ignoring whether it has moved! Why is this happening?

Make sure to have the sub surface modifier have the same levels in viewport and in render otherwise you'll get glitches, I fount it out the hard way.

Tutorial is perfect and enjoyable but my Mac i9 64GB ram inflated when I ve tried to. Its always crash even in one particle system with 300 particle/simple child... :( (Also my model is low poly) Apple really sucks!

This is the best Fur Tutorial I have found. All the other ones just drop a quick fur modifier on the mesh and then use several weight paint maps to adjust the length and density. It's a total nightmare to try and get it to look good using that method yours is much easier!

Reminders for myself: 1) if you get artifacts in between closed areas on mesh in blender, then add a color ramp node in between displacement texture and displacement node. 2) if you have udims in your mesh click on file name in zbrush and select uv tile id format and select udim, also zbrush doesn't set name format for udim right so manually adjust it. for example: displacement.1001.exr

If you're not an experienced Blender I bet a project like this one can get very frustrating, you'll stumble across so many other problems that are not discussed here. It's not easy at all.
