Great information Natalia. I am getting ready to hire freelancers. I have a quick question for you. Since you use Divi, when you finish a gig and need to migrate the website to your client, do you give the client access to the Divi builder if they want to make changes on their own. Maybe they need to add text, or add a video or image. I have never seen anyone explain that. Using Elementor gives them that option. Can you help?

Hi @michaelthomas, thank you for your question! 😄 Personally, I always provide my clients with admin access to their websites. This means they have full control over the backend and can use Divi as needed. I believe that since the client paid me to create the website, they should have the freedom to use it as they see fit. I’m not a fan of agencies or individuals who create websites and then restrict access, but I understand that others might have different approaches. To ensure my clients don’t need to rely on me for every small change, like adjusting text or an image, I like to create short tutorials that guide them step-by-step. I use Loom for this so they can rewatch the videos whenever they need to. Often, clients don’t need to make changes right away, and by the time they do, they might have forgotten how. With a tutorial video, they can revisit the instructions whenever they’re ready. Does this help?

@@nataliaeramirez Thank you so much for that. Do I just use the Divi Theme and when I migrate it the divi builder goes with it? And if so, Divi doesn't mind you including a Divi Builder with the website? I always wondered. I really enjoy watching your videos and you have been so helpful. Thank you so much.

@@michaelthomas1211 The Divi Theme contains the Divi Builder, you can't install the Theme without the Builder. I know it might be a bit confusing since you can install the builder without the theme but the other way around is not possible :D Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad the videos have been helpful. Let me know if there is anything you would like to see next. 😊

Hi @@nataliaeramirez!. I'am very happy about your response. In fack, my name is Javi. Well, I am implementing a web page that it is going to have an image that goes up and down like bouncing. I can do that by css and js. But is takes too much work and that's why worpress and plugins exist. I live in Canada and would like to start the web design shortly. If you permit me I can write to your Instagram and exchange some ideas about web development. Thaks agains 👍 ✌🙂

Hey Javi, thanks for the more detailed description. What you can do is the following: Go to the image module, then in the second tab "design" you will find another tab at the very bottom called "animation". There you can choose an animation type like for example "bounce". You need to play around with the settings to get the result you're looking for. I hope this helps! And yes please, hit me up on instagram @imnataliaramirez 😄

Hi @lindadelia3113 thank you for the question, though I'm not sure I understand what you mean? Can you be a bit more specific? For example: "I want to show a different logo on each page." If you're concerned about the menu (for example that the active page is highlighted and the others not), this is already build-in when using the menu module. Let me know how I can help!

Thank you for responding. I’m sorry if I was unclear. I changed the logo on my welcome page, and I am not sure how it happened, but the logo and menu disappeared from the mobile view. it had originally been set up where the mobile view looked slightly different. The logo was on the top with a hamburger menu below. I changed my rebranded logo, and hit save, I must have done something to make them disappear, and I do not know how to get them back.
@nataliaeramirez
@nataliaeramirez 8 ай бұрын
@@lindadelia3113 it's difficult for me to say without seeing the issue but I can tell you that there are a few things that you can check(if you haven't done any customization with CSS). 1. In your WordPress backend go to appearance > customizer. There, check out if you changed any mobile configurations like hiding the logo on mobile --> this only applies if you're using the standard menu, NOT A CUSTOM menu like in the video! 2. If you created a custom menu like I explain in my video, it might be possible that you changed the image for mobile in the divi builder. Open the menu and open the logo tab. Inside you can check if you made changes for the mobile version (small mobile icon on top of the image). Let me know if this helps! 😊

@@nataliaeramirez Sure, here is a suggestion: A website for Academics e.g. graduate and post-graduate students, professors, and researchers. Never been done before, but with Divi's advanced features and your presentation, it is a promising delivery. Too often, creatives and entrepreneurs get all the attention. There is a template design and video tutorial aimed at affiliate marketers, e-commerce moonlighters, ebook creators, etc. while academics are left out. I think it would be cool if you were the first to target this group.

One important thing to keep in mind. if you have your email accounts on the same domain and through the domain registrar, changing the the name servers will have negative repercussions. The simplest workaround is to simply change the "A" record of the domain to the web site hosting IP address.

Wow... what a difference! Great Job! It truly shows you are committed. It is a grind but don't give up! Make sure you add some form of contact like an e-mail address on your about page, especially for your field as you could get some clients along the way but also is a best practice so people can get in touch with you! Some comments could end up flagged as spam and you wouldn't notice them for long time, and that could be an opportunity missed.

@Natalia Ramirez Try to make every video 1% better than the previous one, a microphone will add 300% impact. Unfortunately, subscribers are not an important metric, as I mentioned, removing the request is because people don't subscribe if they don't relate or find the content interesting regardless of us asking them to do so. Your metrics will show you that you get more views from people who are not subscribed vs. subscribed. And think of yourself, how often do you subscribe to channels, you watch some content and if you need more you can find them in your history, eventually you might subscribe but not straight away. As your content gets pushed to more people, subscribers will come, but not because you are asking them.
