If ya ever want a big fish tank built let me know!! Im south of des moines in indianola and i build acrylic tanks on the side! I have built tanks for a couple different fish stores. I can build up to 480 and can design plumbing and set up

I was on 5-6inches in Iowa Saturday and Sunday in 60 degrees. Thick ice on the river . Cedar Rapids area. Good video

You know that when the ice is thin and crystal clear you can dribble a little water on it and set your transducer on it and it'll read through the ice and you don't have to drill as many holes. Sunday afternoon, just slayed 9 and 10 inch gills, the warm weather has really turned the ice to crap, not safe, be careful. Fyi, Newton area

I was able to get out yesterday too. I've never been on ice this early. It was 4" but i probably won't be back out until after the 1st. I did get a few gills though.

Has this rod tip frayed your line? I got the same exact crappie rod it keep fraying my line big time! Turns out the tiny guide ring at the orange tip those are the ones that frayed the line. Thats a defect from bass pro! Reels is ok the orange tip sucked I will have replaced those guide! Not worth the money!
