Stumbled onto this video by pure chance. I bought this same Pen & Gear Monthly Planner, intending for it to be a gift for my dad--for his business. Ended up getting him a different one because the last three months were misprinted and some pages were out of order. I saw you kinda glazed over it, but maybe you didn't notice. I think the entire stock of that planner was misprinted. I checked my Walmart for that planner again, and the new ones on the shelf were also misprinted. If I wasn't giving it as a gift, those misprints wouldn't have bothered me as much. I think Walmart, Pen & Gear, is onto something with this style/layout. Hopefully they catch/caught the mistake and will fix it for future versions of the planner.

I love my Think Ink. I like the paper better than Tomoe River.

The planner you have is made in Japan, and the paper is “high quality paper” (back side of the paper sleeve) apparently some MUJI planners in Asian counties like the Philippines do not have this same paper - theirs is from some recycled sources and isn’t as fountain pen friendly

Pretty planners, especially the floral A5. Would be great for a normal person expecting to put appointments and some to-do’s. Not someone like me who continually thinks I can completely re-invent myself as a brand new person, with a new planner where I can put goals and trackers etc. 😂

Bought this one on a whim too and love it! Muji accidentally steamrolled all my planner lineup for 2025 by having super functional items. Helps that I love a narrow grid (admittedly 2mm is pushing my bounds, I’ve journaled in 3 and 4mm without issue). Still using December to figure out how best to use it but wouldn’t be surprised if this is the one you go with! Great overview and discussion. Muji is def not discussed in the planner community as much as it should be!

Hi, I just now saw your post. I’m sorry I missed the first 11 days of your challenge. My color is in fact and always has been autumn. It reminds me of burning leaves in our backyard in a barrel contains and the vibrant awesome beautiful colors and every leaf that is a changing thing no one leaf is the same, I now live in Florida and fall doesn’t really happen here as you probably know I miss my seasons tremendously, particularly my autumn however I find that when the leaves do start changing down here which is hard to come by and some places, the leaves are enormous, beautiful, and the colors Are absolutely some that I’ve never seen before so I do get a little bit of my joy from believes where I live unfortunately, this year due to Helene and Milton we have no leaves left. All we have is trees with no leaves left shade to get under no fall. It’s 90° here today, so no I miss my autumn. Thank you for asking and I will keep this on mine for next year. If you do the same thing I do subscribe but I missed those for some reason. Thank you for posting these nice videos and posts. I enjoy them so when I do get to see them, happy holidays and make it safe. I might also add that trees are down everywhere. Most places still have debris that is being somewhere going. They have lost places to get the debris under control so I asked for prayers in our area. Some folks have lost absolutely everything and they are my neighbors as well. Been through anything like this in my entire life and I am going to be 70 and December, so those folks need prayers and still many of them need a roof over their head who have lost everything just the clothes they have on their back. I did not post all this, but it just happened to fit. Thank you again.

I found the Exceed Journals just this year and I love it! I hope that they come out with more colors. So thank you for not liking the older version because it made them pay attention and thanks for helping them improve the journal notebooks.
