Sometimes I get so caught up in the hustle of everyday life that I forget to stop and look around at all the blessings I have been given. My goal for November is to slow down and notice.

I found the Exceed Journals just this year and I love it! I hope that they come out with more colors. So thank you for not liking the older version because it made them pay attention and thanks for helping them improve the journal notebooks.

How much is too much 😂

Ok, i tried the exceed note books as promised. I got a wine red college ruled journal. It has lightly cream paper, my eco and centennial both wrote smoothly, the centennial had a texture response that was nice, the eco vibrated, it is too smooth so it often does that on good paper, i also got the college ruled 1 subject heavyweight paper notebook, both were pretty cheap compared with pen gear, and were equal in price to amazon fare it seems, the subject notebook texture was more school-like, but its writing smooth and pleasant with both pens. I have gushing inks in both, autumn oak and pilot sobuku, and both pens are big medium nibs. There was no feathering on either, if there was any spread, it wasn't enough to change letter shapes, but there must have been a tiny tiny bit because none of my letters were super crisp. I think if i had normal pens that were not rivers, they would have been crisp. Or less watery inks. As for bleeding, there was none, and i purposely wrote wet to check for it, i was very shocked 😮. Ghosting was on the very low side, and much better than my other journals. In indoor light both notebooks often hid what was on the other page. I imagine a drier black would be nearly invisible from the other side. I have to say, I laughed just now because of the idea of exceed paper being a very good fountain pen paper was ludicrous. But it is. I smelled both books and i am sensitive to sulphur and its acids that make paper white, but the level was extremely low so they have buffered these well. Technically they might be acid free. I've always hated that America never made good paper, well now that has changed. Thank you for showing these to me on youtube.

It's a nice bag. Leather has variation as it comes from an animal...cows (or others) are living animals that rub on a fence or have a tussel with another - anyway they end up with scars and marks in their skin just like humans do.

Love the cats---glad you let them stay and play.😂 I am late to the party, but I just bought one of these from Walmart after I saw someone else's video. I was intrigued by these notebooks because I just started in Fountain Pens. A couple of months ago, Walmart wasn't showing they carried these in the stores or maybe they were just out. They do now. I guess because of school starting. I got the large notebook but 75gsm. It sure reminds me of the Leuchtturm paper. It is a little smooth but has some toothyness to it. And I do mind bleed through or ghosting.

It’s weird to not be able to see you and only your hands

I know this is old and you're probably not responding to comments anymore but I'm going to ask anyways. I'm looking for the perfect journal for me. Which is, 160 gsm with yellow pages or cream pages or off white pages at least. I can't seem to find anything that isn't stark white 😕. Any recs?

I also have a lot of pens I do have favorite pens they are called ink joy and paper mate gel those are the only two pans that I will use on my paper in my notebooks I don't really like using alcohol pens they smudge and it's not good for your notebook's

I did buy myself my very first dotted notebook I thought I would like it but I don't I prefer lined paper so when I write a sentence see how long it it on line paper and I also like the number on the end of the paper the tells you how many pages are in a notebook that really helps a lot❤💜💖💗💞💕📓🖋📃
