1000% correct recreation. I was in this exact situation and that was basically the Marines strategy. Later in my Army career I worked with a lot of Marines and I quickly learned that it wasn’t a strategy, they are just trained to be assholes. Good dudes, but assholes.

I worked with a guy like that who was 110%, Company man on his way to upper management in the LEO Career Field. If management asked him to jump, he asked how high? He would enforce and I.A. anyone that management told him to go after even his peers. This guy would stay extra hours after work every day despite having a family! Unfortunately, he passed at 42!

I had this exact same reaction once. War buddy went out, and my first thought was "pew or rope?". Nope. Just natural causes, in bed alongside loving family. Never felt more envy than in that call.

@marcush47418 күн бұрын
@@joshuagreifenstein987 I feel you, bud. Dont worry, Im not going to quit. I only mean that I felt envy that he went out via natural causes. When I was getting those calls every couple months, it just felt like all of our last meals were destined to be a lead sandwich. Hearing that one went out in a peaceful and loving way was what I envied. Its how I intend to go home now. By being the best I can to the people around me until G-d calls me home on HIS timeline.

I bet your father is sad he raised a little bitch because this skit is talking about REAL shit in life, and the real actual gallows humor that veterans and people that deal with such tragedies in life do have. Clearly you never served, it's obvious.
