I think the hardest ghost is a 3-way tossup between MC3, Rainbow Road, and Bowser's Castle; for me it has to be Rainbow Road as it took literally everything I had to beat him. Ghost Valley might seem really good, but he uses the spear which is a horrendous choice for that track as it drifts very wide. I got 0:57 with Funky + flame runner.

I think these should be ranked based on how hard they are to beat without doing any ultra shortcuts. Because not everyone knows the ultra cuts. The easiest ones for me were Sherbet Land and Mario Circuit; the latter I beat on Funky Kong spear without mushrooms. And I strongly disagree with Delfino Square; use flame runner and you gain A LOT of time at the very beginning on that straightaway. Same with Mario Raceway when you go through the pipe.

Staff ghost time was okay, but should’ve stayed on all boost panels, it’s not that hard.
