I'm wiring my Kawasaki vn800 right now. And wondered if instead of using the stock junction boxes if you've thought about just using a six-point fuse box
@lesagecustoms4668Ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching. I may have thought about that, but didn't want to rewire cable by cable, I thought the convenience of having everything with the multiconnector was an advantage. Now if you have restricted room, that might be the way to go.
@tgot1478Ай бұрын
@@lesagecustoms4668 cool, the reason I ask is because the harness that came on my bike caught on fire at some point and it's pretty toasted. I'm going to try using a six point. I'll let you know how it goes, thanks brother

@lesagecustoms46684 ай бұрын
Yes, they were very tight. Altough I didn't finish this project, I do think that if I had to apint the fake tank, it would have been very challenging to try to put the cap on. I wish they will think about this and leave more tolerance.

How do you take the silver trim off without breaking them off??
@lesagecustoms46684 ай бұрын
the silver had flakes mixed with clear coat, once dry (24hr minimum) you can sand to get everything flush and tape over it it will not go away. You always have to think what color you want for your line and use that color as your base.

@lesagecustoms4668 Жыл бұрын

I will think so, it depend how thick they are, you can always try to get as close. Mine had a hole and a welding shop was able to fill the hole. It really depend how bad they are but if rare, give it a shot.
