Can you melt marshmallow already made and pipe it?
@artvvitch2 ай бұрын
I think that would be too sticky/messy and you’d have less time to pipe the shapes before it would cool down and harden again

What is the fluffy stuff you used? I want to make one!
@artvvitch2 ай бұрын
It’s a type of dried grass called bunny tails. You can find them in craft stores or florists.

Can you post the link for the design cut out ?
@artvvitch6 ай бұрын
Hi, I don’t have it uploaded anywhere to send you. I recommend finding a basic commercial bustier pattern with princess seams (most are designed that way) and adding a strap to fit your personal measurements. Or drape some fabric on yourself like I did in the video and pin the seams to fit your shape and draw the style lines directly on the fabric.

The dress looks absolutely awesome on you! Also, love your use of pattern weights! I use tinned goods from my pantry as pattern weights as I sew at the kitchen table!
@artvvitch9 ай бұрын
I love that! Yeah honestly, I grab whatever happens to be around to use as weights 😂

Oh my gosh, it came out so beautifully! Your dress is very similar in shape to a dress I’ve been planning (I splurged and bought some cute kitty themed fabric from spoon flower for it 😮) and this was so helpful! Thank you for taking the time to film and edit this 😊

I started to sew because I wanted to avoid boring clothes and also because I was tired of spending money on clothes that didn't value the price

A great reason to start sewing! Gives you a real appreciation for the amount of effort it takes to make a garment.

I'm only a minute in so far and this is so relatable... The guilt of spending time on anything that isn't perpetuating your business and the mad rush to finish a gown right before the event- it's like you watched my life like a movie! 🤣
