I completely agree with you ! “Men like X, men like Y” etc, I am sick of that. Some men love light skin, but you aren’t bleaching. Some men love taller women but you aren’t getting limb lengthening surgery. Some why change when it comes to hair ? TBH men change what they like every 3 business days. They aren’t consistent with their “likes”. Love yourself and focus on your own betterment, the right man will find you attractive WITH your natural hair. If you think natural hair is an obstacle, well it will be. Most black women need to change their mindset regarding hair. Why the defeatist attitude?
@Deviantbrat5 ай бұрын
Girl like!!! Let’s be honest, a lot of men will sleep with anything they can, they have serious background checks and only employ females at some morgues for that reason so I don’t get why women want to bend over backwards for their ever changing “likes”. Also some black women actually just hate their hair and it’s easier to blame everyone else as a reason why they do. When we have that defeatist mindset it’s easy to always be a victim and never take accountability for why we do the things we do.
@RosalyMuji5 ай бұрын
@@Deviantbrat You just told the whole truth ! I didn’t know that about morgues. Let me go and research this 🫨 And yes the victim mentality needs to be dropped. I think that some people just despise being black, but they can’t voice that without (valid) backlash. So they pick apart their blackness. Sometimes it’s hair, sometimes it’s features, sometimes it’s ethnicity. They see blackness as a burden that has to be reduced by doing extra stuff for external validation. Just an inferiority complex. It enrages me, honestly. Many are not mentally free.
@Deviantbrat5 ай бұрын
@@RosalyMuji I just wish they’d look in the mirror and stop adding to the negative image black women have of not loving ourselves or what we look like. If we don’t like what we look like, why would others? We are easy to pick on because other people even black men know that a lot of us suffer from low self esteem.
@beautifuldreamer88035 ай бұрын
No one expects every man to find them attractive! Simply put, its because 🖤 woman are at an unfair disadvantage because of gracism. It's normal to hurt but, we need to push past it. "Grow up" is a cold response!
@Deviantbrat5 ай бұрын
I’ve never felt like I was at an unfair disadvantage, that’s a defeatist attitude, that’s where the problem begins. We black women internalize the negative projections from other people too much and we shouldn’t. We do need to grow up sooner rather than later, we’re adults here, I don’t need to speak like I’m talking to kids.

If that's true then why are all races men or women fascinated with our hair and proceed to touch it without asking only insecure women would say such ignorant comments like that likee make it make sense
