I Shazammed it because I loved your style so much and now I have been opened up to the world of your music. I listened to the We Rise album all evening. It brought so many smiles to my face. And now that I’ve looked you up on KZbin, I see such joy on your face when you play. That’s how you make me feel when I listen to your music. Thanks for sharing your music with us! Hi James what a joy it has been discovering you over this weekend. I was listening to Nicole Henry with yourself on guitar. I was inspired by the track which by he way was Joy. I found myself working on the guitar chords and trying to apply other techniques you use to express the guitar voice. I suppose the question I wanted to ask was when learning the chords I found my fist chord was Dmaj 6/9 I think I’m using my ears. But I can hear the bass note of the first chord is below the second chord A. Was the track recorded up A tone giving access to open E. I hope that make sense. Manny
