Who knows, but at this point it's hard to find a team that can break the Chiefs when the game is on the line

Jesus is coming soon. Repent and pray everyday like He's your best friend. The Bible has been proven to be historically accurate. Over 25 thousand manuscripts have proven the book we have today is the same as it was thousands of years ago. Jesus was written about by more people than just His followers. He really did live and die and His grave is really empty today bc He is alive. He's coming back to destroy death and make right what we made so very wrong. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. And He will separate the ones who accept His mercy and grace from the children of the one who will be in the eternal lake of fire, where the smoke will rise forever and the unsaved will nash their teeth and be tormented over and over and over and over. This is Good news! While you're alive today you can be saved by the grace God has offered to all of us! It's a free gift! Put your pride away and believe in Jesus like someone believes in a parachute that's falling out of a plane!

how was this recorded in 1974?
@mrdconti235 ай бұрын
I was limited by the technology of the time. Digital cameras will still relatively new, and I did not have the resources to film with them. I had 2 old VHS camcorders and then a remote camera which was basically the equivalent of a baby monitor. All 3 fed into an old VHS switcher so I could switch back and forth during the game, and then ultimately is was recorded to a VHS tape, which I later was able to convert and upload to KZbin.
@rebel33535 ай бұрын
dont see anyone mention this, but in the new OT rules (53:35 in the video) each team gets a possession, doesn't matter if the team that receives first, scores an OFFENSIVE touchdown first or not, the second team always gets an opportunity, it doesn't matter if the time expires at the end of first quarter OT, the chiefs would have retained the ball into second quarter OT in this game, if chiefs would have scored a DEFENSIVE TD, such as a pick six or a fumble recovery td, then game over

so as for this ruling. i’m a steeler fan so im about to do blasphemy here. the reason this was ruled a touchdown and not the jesse james catch is because watch the NE defender. he touches him as he goes down. he did have possession with two points of contact down and crossed the goal line with the ball. the reason he’s ruled down with possession in the end zone is because the defender touches him as he goes down. jesse james was not touched as he went down and lost possession going to the ground. it’s a HORRIBLE rule but both were correct calls technically. however the rule has changed and it’s now if you make a football move with an in bounds ruling (two points of contact) then it’s a catch even if you lose control going down.

I'm a fan of your content and have been for a number of years, even though I'm an Eagles fan who despises the Cowboys. But you have always seemed like a good dude to me...y'know, someone I'd be friends with in real life if our paths had somehow crossed. I have also admired your objectivity as well as your knowledge of the game. That's why I was so surprised that you were confused by the clock in the overtime. When I was watching the game, I was joking aloud that "I bet there are actually some fans out there who think the clock matters". Man, I never thought YOU would be one of those. Anyway, I do thank you for your yearly Super Bowl videos and I hope you never stop making them.
@mrdconti237 ай бұрын
Thank you, I try to watch the game with a certain level of objectivity as nothing annoys me more than people who bitch about the refs, or the game being "rigged". Just stop it already. As far as the clock in OT, my gut instinct was that the clock didn't matter, but I thought my son had said something that then made me question it, but it turns out I misheard him, as he knew the rule. It's funny how the end of a close SB can make you temporarily lose basic knowledge 😅

Yeah, and the problem for the rest of the league is that, basically every other back-to-back SB champion was thwarted by a team on or near their level with previous championship experience, or they just missed the playoffs entirely. KC not missing the playoffs any time soon. Who is that team right now that can rise up?

Anyone noticed Andy made that same trick play this superbowl like he did in sb57 against Philly and they're still not catching onto it.. lol man Andy is a wizard of a coach for sure & the defense was always top tier 💯👍 IN SPAGS WE TRUST 🔴🟡
@loganleroy86227 ай бұрын
It’s not that they don’t catch onto it. It’s that it’s a really difficult play to defend. Richard Sherman himself explained that once you get inside 5 yards from the goaline you essentially must stay in man coverage, because zone coverage will be too soft. Because it’s in man you have to either travel with the man going in motion or you have to pass it off. The problem is right at the moment when you pass it off the receiver turns around and heads the other direction as the ball is snapped.
