Hello, you always run in the same route?
@20yearsgoal967 күн бұрын
These videos I recorded while in holiday in Tunisia and I run there always in same route. I run in 1 km loop around hotel territory. It was closed hotel territory and safe for me. Often I went to run in the darkness before sunrise and there were no lights. So I knew the route and I knew I can run there even in the darkness without falling down or stepping into holes. In Tunisia there are stray dogs everywhere and especially early morning. Stray dogs running around freely and they wake up also about in sunrise time and then going to hunt the food. It is too dangerous for me to run same time when dogs are out chasing for food. When stray dogs are out during day time, there are more people and cars around and then dogs are not so dangerous to me. The other reason why I don't want to leave hotel territory while running in the darkness is the road pavements quality. I don't want to take a risk to step into hole to twist my ankle or fall down. I twisted my ankle about one year ago very badly and it is still affecting me.

@@20yearsgoal96ohhhh, now its clear for me. This beautiful place is a hotel... When I started seeing your vídeos comparing these watches, I thought it was your home and that you must be the son of the president of the country or some very rich governor or politician, because you had 4 Garmin watches in Tunisia and always in this beautiful resort. Now you explained that it is a hotel during the holidays. So that is why you always run on this route, because it is safe and does not leave you exposed to wild dogs. Thanks for the answer

@@DiegoJamaica Don't have to be rich to travel. This Tunisia All Inclusive holiday price was £500 per person for three weeks. Price includes plane tickets, airport hotel transfer in Tunisia, All Inclusive hotel, Tunisia tourist tax. These 4 Garmin watches I bought used watches and price totally was £658 and will sell these after trying these out. I will keep only one watch or nothing. I even sold one of these watches in Tunisia. Now today, when answering your message, I sold 3 of these watches already and currently have one of this still on selling. Same time I bought 6 additional different Garmin's. Some of these I don't like, some I like. Now I have to decide what model I want to keep for myself. I already sold Forerunner 945, but bought same model again, because it seems to be my favourite model. Currently I am deciding shall I keep Forerunner 945 or Fenix 7. So I will try to sell all other Garmin's what I have and later after some weeks or some months will decide shall I keep my main watch Forerunner 945 or Fenix 7.

@@20yearsgoal96 Just like you, I've had several Garmin watches. I've had a Fenix 3 HR, Fenix 5, Forerunner 935, Forerunner 255, Instinct, and I currently have a Fenix 6 Sapphire (Pro). I previously had a Forerunner 255, but I sold it and opted for the Fenix 6 because of its appearance. I've always liked Fenix watches better, even though they're heavier and generally have a lower GPS signal than the Forerunner due to the metal bezel. I had the feeling that my Forerunners looked like very simple plastic watches. If I were you, I would opt for the Fenix 7, because I think it's prettier, but that's a personal decision.
@DiegoJamaica6 күн бұрын
One Last question... Why you choose keep the 945 instead of 955? The 955 have hr sensor elevate v4 instead v3 on 945. And, based on some yt reviewers, the gps chipset is better on 955/fenix 7 instead the chipset Sony on forerunner 945 / fênix 6. In next year, probably Ill sell my fenix 6, and look for Fenix 7 pro, because Im interested in buy a watch with newer elevate v5 sensor.

what you can tell about the battery drain during gps use on epix gen 2 x fenix 6 pro?
@20yearsgoal9610 күн бұрын
Battery video I recorded too and it will be available 9th January to talk about all 4 watches. Fenix 6 Pro lasted 9 days, maybe would last one more day, but I decided to charge. You can also watch 3rd January video, what is last day for Fenix 6 Pro battery test. After 9 days and 8 runs Fenix 6 Pro battery was 14%, I decided to charge it, but maybe it would last one more day and one more run. Epix Gen 2 was in same condition as 16% after 10 days wearing and running 9 times. I planned to charge watch, but didn't had time so I wore Epix Gen 2 11 days and did 10 runs and then battery was 1%. It is possibility, Fenix 6 Pro would last one extra day. Normally I never let battery to go so low, I always charge earlier. I wouldn't want to go running with 14% or under 20% battery level. But these new watches are having so good battery, even 14% is OK to go and run one more time. If Epix Gen 2 had 16% battery left then I wore it one more full day (24h) and then went to run. Possible beginning of the run battery was 7-8% or so and still decided, battery have to last entire run and it lasted.

looks like the epix always complete first and give the best pace, than others. and the fenix 6 pro is always the last to complete the distance with a slowly pace.. I have a fenix 6 pro sapphire :(
@20yearsgoal9610 күн бұрын
Epix was always the speediest compared to others. Fenix 6 Pro wasn't the slowest. Slowest was mostly Forerunner 945. Second fastest was mostly Forerunner 955 and sometimes even Fenix 6 Pro. I can say this only when was running in same 1 km loop each day. When I am running in my home area, then Fenix 6 Pro is always the slowest compared to others and Epix Gen 2 is still the fastest even in my home area.

I bought an F6X to replace my Pace 2, I love it, in the future I think about switching to the Enduro 3 or F8 Solar, but here in Brazil they have very high prices. I've never had any problems with the F6X, GPS works well, but I can't say much about heart rate, as whenever I train, I use a Polar Verity or H10 connected to the watch.
@20yearsgoal9613 күн бұрын
Yes, Fenix 8 is expensive, I think it is too expensive. I haven't had Fenix 8 not yet either. When I am motivated and doing important running training, I am using Garmin RUN chest strap. When I am not motivated to run and don't have goal like these days right now, I just wear Garmin watch and no extra chest strap.
@20yearsgoal9613 күн бұрын
By Pace 2 you mean Coros? I had it before. I don't like Coros ( Polar I don't like too) and the main reason is, the watch (Coros and Polar) needed to be connected to App to set it up the way I like running data screens to be. I like watch what I can set up fully without using any App.
@thiago_blera12 күн бұрын
@@20yearsgoal96 Yes, Coros, I even like it, but it seems very incomplete when I compare it to Garmin and I agree with everything you said. I've never been interested in Polar watches, they don't seem right to me, I don't know... But I like Polar's HR solutions, I even use HRV in my work, so I choose Verity and H10.

@20yearsgoal9617 күн бұрын
I never had issues with with Fenix 6 Pro and hrm. When I am running with Fenix 6 Pro in 1 km loop like in this video or straight lines, GPS distance seems to be accurate. When I am running with it in my home area what means I have to do 400-500m loops and it is hilly, so turn after after turn constantly, then Fenix 6 Pro GPS distance is not accurate. I don't use maps, but I like to have these in the watch. I stupidly believed Epix Gen 2 is having detailed maps too, but it doesn't. Forerunner 955, 945 and Fenix 6 Pro are having detailed maps. Fenix 6 Pro screen is so nice and big compared to Forerunner 945.

I don't remember. Maybe few months, maybe some months, maybe half year. I played very intensively during one summer, then sold my PS4. Then bought another PS4 ja played again, sold the PS4. Possible bought third PS4 and played again and then sold it. This is game what is possible to carry on playing even after selling PS4 ja then buying new PS4. PS4 account is having some kind of game memory and every time I bought new (used) PS4, I carried on playing this game from same level what I stopped playing with my previous PS4. Thats why I don't remember how long it took for me to be in that level. It was too addictive game for me, I couldn't stop playing it and my only solution was to sell PS4. Sometimes I miss the game, but this game took over my life. I was playing it all the time when I was at home. Right now I don't have PS4 at all or any PS's either.

I liked sport options like tennis, running, 25 m indoor heated swimming pool, big gym, table tennis. I liked staff members as they wasn’t pushy, they didn’t hint for tips, they were nice and polite. Location was good too. And beach was good. I can’t comment alcohol as I don’t drink alcohol. Right now, today, I am in different hotel in Tunisia. I was there in cold season, so I can only talk about February time. I would say all is clean. We had bad rooms. One room smelled to smoke. One room was next to entire floor AC units propellers fans, so it felt like sleeping in the helicopter. Third room was OK, but mattress had big hole so it felt like sleeping in the bath hole. Winter time eating in the restaurant was very cold. Had to wear winter jackets while eating. There is heating AC units in the restaurants, but they didn't turn these on, so it was constant cold. We were eating always when restaurant opening times, if to be late, then no empty tables. Then people had to sit outside and it was cold. The other issue are night time noise. As it was cold, people didn't sat by the pool area in the evening and it was good, not partying, no screaming. If weather was slightly warmer, people sat by the pool until midnight or longer and music was playing, people were shouting and screaming. It was impossible to sleep like this. Most of the rooms windows facing to swimming pool area, so it is not possible to avoid the noise. If you are the person who would like to sit by the pool late at night, then this would not bother you. In our rooms WiFi didn't work. Had to go down to lobby to use WiFi. We had been in that hotel twice and never going back. Food? I was fine with food. Selection was small, but I was OK. I always had pasta or rice and salads and fruits and cakes and I was happy with it. Sometimes there was nice fish too. There were also mincemeat, chicken and other things, but I didn't want these.

Nice ! Very long and straight ! Did you do breathing exercises before to warm up your lungs ?
@20yearsgoal962 ай бұрын
I didn't do anything special. I don't know how to warm up lungs, I don't even know what this means. I went into pool and swam 1600m (1 mile). After swimming did underwater things. Most important thing for me is to calm my mind. Some days I am tired or heart is beating too fast or I am stressed, then even 60 sec is not so easy. Some days feeling good and then everything feels easy. One day wanted to do 80 sec, but rushed and hoped a lot, but made only 60 sec. I never tried to hold longer than 100 sec. It is all about thinking. I didn't plan to go for 100 sec this time, but felt OK and then just carried on until 100 sec and then quit. I didn't had plan B in case I feel extra good should I carry on longer. 100 sec was good enough. I never tried to hold as much as possible. I do have always time targets and sure I am listening how I feel. If not feeling good, not pushing myself as I am mostly alone and there is no one who could rescue me if something goes wrong. Sometimes last 10 -15 sec I am holding breath specially, struggling and looking at the watch screen and watching and counting how seconds passing. If I remember, I can post video of the same 100 sec handstand and also show on video what I did before the handstand.
@Sporty60y2 ай бұрын
Thanks for reply ! I totally agree with you - keeping calm and relaxed is even harder than keeping your balance and is different from day to day - I am embarrassed and therefore stressed to perform in public pool for negative comments from other swimmers or even more lifeguards - I also do not take any risk as I am always alone in a private pool when practising - even at 61 years it totally relaxes me - current best time is 75 sec - goal is 90 sec
@meghan32352 ай бұрын
@@20yearsgoal96 I think what he means is deep breathing/hyperventilating to reduce your CO2 levels before going underwater. It delays the urge to breathe & you may be able to hold your breath longer. While doing this can increase your underwater time there is also the risk of blacking out & possibly drowning, so don't do that without someone watching you.
