I admit I'm not a great fan of AFC Fylde. Always found them to be a bit arrogant. Clitheroe beat them 7-1 when they were in our division, which I believe is still their record defeat? Following season they beat us 6-1 at Shawbridge with a very expensively assembled side. Spoke with one of their fans during the game, who look puzzled when I mentioned the 7-1 defeat. He had no recollection of that game at all and he was insistant that this was the first time Fylde had ever played Clitheroe. I guessed he must have been one of their new fans who had started watching that season since they were winning every week. They romped away with the League then a couple more promotions after that. Still not been to Mill Farm, although I've been to most non-league grounds in Lancashire. I'll get there eventually I suppose !!🙂
@RHVlogs_2 ай бұрын
I’ve done some digging and managed to find it 23rd of March 2010 we beat them 7-1 at Shawbridge as you say. However their biggest ever defeat is listed as 5-0 away to Salford in 2017! Strange! 🤥

Northampton away end was 💩 there was a literal metal fence (like what you see on building sites) at the very top at the back, that you weren’t allowed to lean on. Which seemed… not safe… There was no running in water in the girls toilets, and the men’s toilets were flooded apparently. Alsooo it’s in what can only be described as a crater, so locals just sit on the hill around the stadium to watch the match😂 why pay £25 for a ticket when you can watch for free?

Yeah when I went to Gateshead i didn't dislike it too much. Definitely won't forget it. For me the worst stadium in the UK is either Stadium MK or Luton Towns training ground. Stadium MK is not a football ground. It's a soulless bowl with a football pitch attacked to it. Lutons training ground (home to Crawley Green FC) is everything I dislike about non league grounds. I'm so glad I only went there once. Never again (unless my team get relegated or they get promoted).
@tomhammond34952 ай бұрын
Great video but it's an extremely misleading title. How can a they be the most remote in the world when local rivals NSI Runavik are just a 3 minute drive away? They're probably the least remote club in the Faroes apart from HB and B36 of course. I reckon the most remote ground in world football is probably Tasiilaq Field in Greenland but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
@RHVlogs_Ай бұрын
From the research I did prior to planning the trip, the Svangaskarð stadium came up time and time again as the most remote in the world. I agree though, when I got there I found that strange given NSÍ Runavík was literally round the corner and Torshavn only 15 minutes away. The true most remote ground on the islands would probably be the one in Eiði right up in the north or FC Suðuroy down in south.
