Is there an equivalent v2 API endpoint to the "/api/config/system" tree such that we can send a PUT call using Postman using that v2 API endpoint, for example?
@EricssonEnterpriseWirelessАй бұрын
Yes, you can change any part of the device configuration via the NCM API configuration_managers/ endpoint. Here is an example of enabling GPS, which is under /api/config/system/: GET configuration_managers ID for router mac: www.cradlepointecm.com/api/v2/configuration_managers/?fields=id&router.mac=003044123456 or curl: curl -v -X GET -H "X-ECM-API-ID:$X_ECM_API_ID" -H "X-ECM-API-KEY:$X_ECM_API_KEY" -H "X-CP-API-ID:$X_CP_API_ID" -H "X-CP-API-KEY:$X_CP_API_KEY" www.cradlepointecm.com/api/v2/configuration_managers/?fields=id&router.mac=003044123456 PATCH configuration_managers/ID www.cradlepointecm.com/api/v2/configuration_managers/123456/ or curl: curl -v -X PATCH -H "X-ECM-API-ID:$X_ECM_API_ID" -H "X-ECM-API-KEY:$X_ECM_API_KEY" -H "X-CP-API-ID:$X_CP_API_ID" -H "X-CP-API-KEY:$X_CP_API_KEY" -H "Content-Type:application/json" www.cradlepointecm.com/api/v2/configuration_managers/123456/ -d '{ "configuration": [ { "system": { "gps": { "enabled": true } } }, [] ] }'

This is how our Government has been stealing our votes. A Private Cellular Network is set up that interfaces to Local Private WIFI Network Connected Election Machines in each Precinct. Data is then shared secretly between the Central County Offices and the Precincts using Network Address Translation (NAT) protocol signaling.

It would have been exceedingly useful to have given an example of a PUT via curl instead of python, for those of us using other languages.

Great point; thanks for calling out. Here is an example of doing a PUT to the NCOS API using curl: curl -u admin:password -X PUT 192.168.0.1/api/config/system/ -d 'data={"system_id":"MyRouter"}' PROTIP: Use the chrome dev tools (network tab) to see the NCOS API paths and payloads used when clicking submit in UI pages.

I have set up wireless WAN with Cradlepoint, as well as other makes. However, the wireless connection is usually as a fallback to wired connections.

I actually like the Fleet 3. The only disagreement I have is with the installers Axon trains. Zero knowledge of electrical properties and components, Basic understanding of Automotive electrical. They can't answer the simplest of questions and when presented with solutions, they tend to lean towards, well that's not how Axon wants it installed, Or my favorite, they discuss plans of installation with personnel that have zero electrical knowledge. I do however love the excuse I keep hearing "I have installed thousands of these devices, I think I know what I am doing." Please Cradlepoint, reach out to Axon and have them train their installers the right way, or at least have their 3rd party installers go take a class to better understand electronics.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata & I was told the bluelink (similar to OnStar) was disabled due to the modem no longer being supported bc it's older & runs on 2g/3g cellphone service. If I update to this 5g would i be able to get Bluelink features back do you think?
@EricssonEnterpriseWireless Жыл бұрын
most 2G/3G devices have been sunsetted. We sell through other business; perhaps a Hyundai dealer is best positioned to get you up and running again?

I saw one of Axon’s cars yesterday on I-77 on April 29th, 2023. It’s license plate was Axon 5 and the driver was speeding and staying in the left passing lane. The car was made to look like a police car so everyone kept pulling over to get out of his way. Total jerk move.

You know, that's really neat. But axon has an opportunity to really step up it's game to blow the competition out of the water. As a small town cop myself, I've always found it to be kind of silly that I need to use a wireless mic with my dash cam when I already have a body cam from the same manufacturer. Maybe yall could blend the systems together so that my body camera IS my dash cam mic? Also, Motorola has a really cool watchguard camera system that has front, rear, side view, 2 angle prisoner view, AND wide angle lens. So essentially there's like 7 cameras. Mesh all of that together and you've got a really bad ass system
@Michael_Oakes7 ай бұрын
With Axon Fleet 3, the Axon body cam IS the mic and there is no additional mic needed. I’ve been with Axon for 8 years now and train officers nationwide on these systems. I’m also former law enforcement and have been very impressed with the constant evolution of technology that Axon maintains.

After 22 years in my industry, a system like this is the logical way to run multiple crane-assisted tree removal crews on the same day, especially when 3rd parties payors like insurance companies or restoration/recovery administrators are involved... Crane assisted tree removal can be evaluated by an expert in real time from a central location for improvements of jobsite setup, traffic and worker safety and process efficiency, and documented for purposes of property preservation, proof of work, and training.

Cool, just curious what if you don't have that corporate wifi router, but an office laptop, I guess then you can connect to home wifi, then the office laptop will have some VNP software to connect to office systems, any thought?

Think of a remote mining operation. How do you get the company phones Internet when there in the Ute 5km away? An ap on a pole every 30m, no, a tower with some sector antennas on it getting lte etc to the devices
@manojkumarnaga Жыл бұрын
But the access points are 5X costly so evens out no?
@user-of6nf2wi6f Жыл бұрын
@@manojkumarnaga No. The Cellular access points are maybe twice the cost and you need 1/4 to 1/5 as many RAN's to cover the same real estate.
