About Nia's gender, its a boy, but he gets confused as a girl often. Wangnan did refer to Nia as a she a lot, so i can see where the confusion comes from. As to his character, yeah, I can't say I felt anything either about his death. I also didn't feel anything from Wangnan's decision Although, I can't really blame tower of god for any of this, it's a really hard trope to pull off in my opinion. All the things that you mentioned The cycle of hatred and violence, the trope for me it's hard to take seriously. I think the only one who did it well, was Naruto. I don't know if you watched it, so i won't say more Letting a villain live or forgiving them, just so they can be the bigger person... also, for me never works for me.. unless the villain faces consequences, introspection, or is young enough that there's room to grow. I think the problem lies with those tropes rather than with the show.... It's not even a bad adaptation, the same thing happened in the original manhwa, it's just the way it is.

about the whole wangnan topic you discussed at the end: i definitely understand why you feel this way about this mini arc of his, it wasnt super fleshed out or anything and this isnt even the anime's fault iirc, i.e. i dont think the manhwa did it any better but the way i think about it is, as you pointed out, that he wants to become the king and change the tower for the better, but after nia got killed he "lost himself" until it really got to taking revenge and right before making this irreversible decision to repeat the same mistake the people he despises made (which, in part, caused the problems he wants to solve), he decides to "take the high road" and basically "be the change you want to see in the world" I kinda understand what lurker is on about along the lines of "who are you to forgive me lmao", but i think it kinda makes sense from wangnan's perspective but still, as i said, im not blaming you for disliking it or anything and i do think if that really was the intended message here, it could have been delivered better

What a lot of people don’t realise is that an iron maiden is made so it can only be closed from the outside. 1 person would have always had to have stayed behind to close it. Whether Lilia went with them or not she would die eventually as death is her chosen destiny as we saw in the (destination card slot) She stayed to take out the seven and to give the rest a fighting chance at finishing the road. Lilia also couldn’t prevent her past coven from dying event after foreseeing this unfold. Here.. she felt contempt in accepting her fate (death) and knowing that she used her powers to help/save her coven by eliminating the 7 which she is very different to the rest of her life where she has been unable to avoid tragedy to her loved ones and her 1st coven. She made the most of her time she had left as she knew that she was eventually going to die/fall. Hope this makes sense.

For those who want to understand the full implications of the reveal, but didnt quite understand, spoilers below: The implication, Billy put the sigil on himself. It broke when Agatha figured out who he is. This confirms he is Demiurge Wiccan, the embodiment of good chaos magic on Earth, (or should I say Billy Kaplan, the reincarnation of Billy Maximoff, Wanda's son.) And he just deemed the rest of the Coven unworthy to finish the witches' road with him.
