Also the auto off features adjustments are disabled until I reset the Jackery then that only works for a moment. Was working perfectly before update wish there was a roll back to earlier version

I think that delta 3 plus is not a finished product. With alternator charger it is not possible to charge delta 3 plus and extra battery at the same time, because there is only one port for connecting or alternator charger or extra battery. In the current reality 1 kWh on board is very little. I am disappointed.

Could you use the alternator charger to xt-60i ? I’m just wondering if that’s not an option on the Delta 3.

Direct copy you say? It's the same colour dude... Not the same shape, not the same dimensions, not the same ports. It has the same colour -_- If you were a company that wants to build a machine with the same capabilities, how would you go about doing that? Wouldn't it be shaped like a box? Of course it would. It has prismatic cells inside, of course it will be a box... Wouldn't the ports be at the front? Of course they would -_- Wouldn't it have a handle because it's very heavy to lift due to the batteries and electronics? Of course it would... The only real copying here is the colour, all the rest are logical design decisions... And the fact that you can buy it for 1600€ right now, just makes the ecoflow overpriced and irrelevant. Maybe you are angry because you own an ecoflow and paid too much for it, idk...

Will charge mine to 100%. Reset it and it says 96%. Plug charger back in to 100. Reset and back to 96%. It's only a month old and fully charged at most 4 times. I did buy it open box though. Am I already down 4% storage capacity or is this normal?
@SoGenFan6 күн бұрын
Don't try to overcharge the battery. Once it stops charging, just unplug it. This reset tip is only needed "once in a while" or if you start to notice the % jumping around. As to your specific issue, try using the entire capacity (down to 0%) and estimate the number of watt hours (wh: multiply watts output by time in hours) and see if you are getting atleast 80% of the stated capacity (you will never get 100% due to conversion losses). If the capacity seems too low, charge it to 100% and try again. If the result is the same, I would try to return it.
@Matt-ki6tw5 күн бұрын
@@SoGenFan Well, I have reset it a few times when I notice the output watts getting off. I am using for low power devices mostly, so one charge last a while and I know the wh they pull to begin with and as they reach capacity. I did drain it once with a box fan and then recharged to 100% or really 96%. I think the person that returned the one I got just used it extensively for some type of road trip as only the car charger had been used. I guess 4% isn't a lot. I am still in the return period less 20% restock fee from harbor freight. I will try your test though. Thank you very much for the response!

Yes, most new power stations are "fast-charge capable" and can be fully charged in about 1 hour. Which makes them the perfect companion of a gas generator since you'll only need to run it for an hour here-n-there instead of continuously. 👍

Thanks for the great vid. I have a Jackery 240 and a Jackery 880. If I’m using the 880 to constantly power a 12 volt car fridge, is it safe to also receive charge for the Jackery with the DC car port when needed, while it’s still charging the fridge? Or, is the 240 Jackery powerful enough to charge the fridge while I’m charging the 880? I’ve also heard that it’s not good to have a power bank charging thru the DC port for long periods because the charging ports really heat up. True? My purpose is car camping on looong road trips. I’d appreciate the advice.
@SoGenFan16 күн бұрын
The 880 can handle both no problem. Most car fridges only pull about 50w, which is nothing for a 880wh battery (C Rate of less than 0.1) and the car charger only supplies about ~100w (plus the fridge only pulls power intermittently). BTW the 240 has the same regulated 12v outlet as the 880, so it can power the fridge just as well. But it is unnecessary IMO to even bother unplugging the fridge from the 880 for the reason above.

Hi SoGenFan. Very much appreciate your video here. I’m curious where you found the 20amp spec for the solar input? Neither their website or the user manual states the amperage, they only state the Voltage range and Wattage. I’m very interested about this, as I’m looking to purchase a power station that will allow me to input 32V at up to 16.5amp through a 530W Solar array. Many thanks

Nicely done review! DP3 has split phase 240 and the Dabbsson doesn't is the biggest difference to me. I have used 2 Renogy 1000s in the same config as your Dabbsson setup and they DO have split phase or single phase, but mine run down quickly running my well pump. So if Dabbsson could engineer in a split phase hub that would be huge, especially at their price point and expandability. Again, thanks for the info and the effort to bring this review to us.

I just ordered a DC model on Amazon, which came with a free strap. Before placing the order, I spent a lot of time debating between DC and AC models. I ultimately chose the DC model because both options only offered 288W. Even if I wanted to use electrical appliances, 288W wouldn't be sufficient. For AC electrical appliances, models like the C1000 or River2 Pro would be much better choices.

wait so the AC version can do 300W on the inverter and 300W on DC ports at the same time?

That 30 dollar strap is nonsense. I went on Amazon and bought two off brand straps for 20 bucks. Plus you get color choices. I bought an olive drab and a blaze orange strap. I have several Anker products from phone wall chargers/cords to smaller power banks to ear buds/headphones/Bluetooth speakers to a C1000 and a soon C300DC. That being said, I don't own any EcoFlow products but they're the ones I'd readily say are pushing the envelope for accessories in this market. From their DC to DC cable that charges directly from the alternator to the plug adapter for recharging at EV stations. Anker, Bluetti and others need to expand these options as well for their products. I'm glad to also see most players are now moving to a simple AC charge cord. I have an older Bluetti EB55 with an external charging brick. I hate those things.
