For the most part i just build it on the fly. Sometimes i sketch something on a scrap piece of wood but rarely do i stick with what i sketch.

Huh. My natural inclination is to question the strength, but under compression PVC should be pretty strong. My concern would be what might happen if it were to receive a racking force while under load. The PVCs low shear strength could result in a cascade break. Beautiful though. Love your style.

So far so good. Made for my grandson. Used a french cleat to secure to wall so not getting much load to the ground really. Thank you.

That is gorgeous! Particularly in love with the grain and coloring on the door panels. Its a rare gift to be able to work woth the color as well as shape with a natural finish. Beautiful woodcraft.

Anything from Fuente, Perdomo, and a handful of boutique brands. I have a few close relationships with people in the industry, and I love their cigars, so it's hard to have just one favorite. I believe this one was around 1500-1600.00 was made from alder. So far everyone who has ordered the cabinet humidors has made the drive to get them bc shipping is outrageous and then too have to worry about the shipping company not mishandling it.

Looks great dude! Joinery is clean, didn't even notice the hinge at first. After the paint and veneer how much are you gonna sell it for? I make stufft too, curious what profit would be on something like that?

Thank you. As of right now i dnt really have anything into it. Believe it or not that is construction lumber 2x4’s. My friend will probably have more into it than me with the painting. We plan on auctioning it off at the lounge. Now if this was made from a nicer wood something this size would probably go for 350.00.

Hey I am in the middle of building one right now I want to install a electric humidity/temp controller that runs a humidifier and cooling unit, do you know any plug and play systems?

So humidifier there are plenty of them as far as cooling unit as well i cant think of any off top of my head. Just remember that a cooling unit can suck out humidity.

Okay I appreciate it, I live In nor cal and it gets up to the 110+ degrees in the summers and I spend a lot of time out of town it just seems like a better alternative than cooling my whole house while I’m gone, I love you’re videos you do a good job of showing and explaining the whole process

Ahhh i see what you are saying. Yea that could definitely be an issue. U may need to get just a small unit for just the room u have it in. And just cool that room. Tht could be an option if u cant find a small unit that would fit in your humidor. And i really appreciate the kind words.

For the glass in your doors, do you use 1/4”?

Its actually 1/8 i believe. I always take my doors to a glass shop so they can cut to fit and install for me.

How is the humidity holding up? Usually, you have to join the spanish cedar better than just gluing planks next to each other onto plywood...otherwise, theres no seal to trap humidity.

Holds up great. Never had any issues and ive built many many humidors. Desktop humidors are the ones you have to worry more about a nice seal. Cabinet humidors have humidifiers in them that maintain the humidity.
