One day you’ll look back and laugh at it. Happened to a buddy. We took our bass boats to an island to camp, the tide dropped over night, wake up, his boat beached, mine was tied farther out. Had to use my batteries to pump out his boat. Then my motor ended up burning up, and he towed me in!! You can’t make this stuff up. We laugh now. To the guy posting your mishap, what goes around will come around.

Was fishing a pretty similar area on Memorial Day as well! Ended up with a bunch of dinks, I have a video on my channel from that day as well.

All it takes is a day or so of high water and the presence of bait and you could catch fish at your front door lol

We agree, but you think there would be a bit of leeway considering we were only late cause of an accident with Iain hooking Tristan and we were within sight of the weigh-in the entire time for 15 minutes leading up to it 🤷♂️ also, typically being late to weigh-in just assesses a penalty to your weight, rather than disqualifying you from weighing in at all…

@Retrosmack thanks for the shoutout, I found the post and replied to your comment on it and he deleted the post like literally 10 seconds later 🤣 the grass flat strat is a killer in the spring out there, that day we were fishing the same flat we used in TTO last year to place 12th lol. We haven’t tried it in Lick yet but we’ve thought about it, so thanks for the heads up, we’ll have to add that to the rotation! We have done it in Walnut before with some success as well, so try that out if you haven’t yet! Thanks for your support of the channel and for keeping it real for us 🫡

Nice. My inlaws live in Muenster, I need to drag the boat up there and scope it out. They had the lake completely drained (on accident) a few years ago, I was curious how it came back

Hey Landon! Don’t get discouraged, Muenster can be a tough lake! From November through April is the best time to fish it! Unfortunately, both of us will be busy pretty much every weekend in March with tournaments and other personal things to take care of, sorry about that man! We hope you are able to find a captain, and let us know if we can help you try to find one!

Fishing for a great cause, love it! I'd like to get down there for the bass fishing this winter. I have had a brutally limited amount of time to hit the water myself with all the hunting happening where I fish. Many rivers I fish roll through huntable land in MN and now Ice is taking over not to mention it makes the fishing and camping videos impossible. Great video!

We had the bites to be in the top 10 on the bank, just didn’t keep ‘em pinned unfortunately. We never found much of anything offshore, so we stuck with what we thought would give us the best chance to cash a check at the very least. If we hadn’t lost those last 2 keeper bites, we would’ve been somewhere around 9th or 10th place with about 10.5 or 11 pounds. Grinder of a derb for sure. Y’all caught em pretty good, just needed those last 2 bites as well!

Hey! I’m Landon and I am an angler in lonestar jr bassmasters based out of the Dallas Fort Worth area . I love to fish the tournaments I am able to go to but I don’t have a boat or a boat captain. I was wondering if you would be willing to captain me. I can pay for gas and travel expenses and what ever else there is. The lakes this year are pretty close to the dfw area except for squaw creek. Hey Landon! Unfortunately with our own tournament schedule and work/school, we are too busy and simply don’t have the time to captain for high school tournaments on top of all of that.
