The problem is these ships arrived too late to the jet age for transportation.

The decision to sink the SS United States, America's flagship is a disgrace. The SSUS is structurally sound. Instead of our country having the Queen Mary (which represents England) docked for tourism in our country, it should be the SS United States (which represents America). So many historical landmarks, monuments, symbols of patriotism have been destroyed these past several years...and now the Big U. It is such a disgrace.

Not all of these is United States horns

So, two organizations had the wherewithal to save two queens, two flagships. Where are all of our flagships? Oh. Right. I forgot. This is the new US. We couldn't care less.
