I was there and the Caddy 🇺🇸 sound was awesome. Only beaten by the NASCAR. Cross plane V8s are great.

The name Marcel Fassler has an umlaut on the A of Fassler. Therefore his name should be pronounced as if it was spelt Fessler. Just saying. 😉😁

Alan McNish has been in this position before and seen it slip through his fingers. Prophetic words indeed. One could say the loss was at his own hands. It's racing, how could he know there would be a slow car off line in the Porsche curves?

You can clearly see the Ferrari is faster.BOP my as. 1:37 to 1:39 might as well gave up.Unless Ferrari makes a bad mistake in the pits ,crashes out or breaks down Caddy hasn`t a chance.

Need for Speed... amazing how much low end 'grunt' #3 Cadillac Racing has in corners. Brakes and Engine Compression brings speeding car to near standstill in seconds. For every downshift going in corners, there will be an up-shift upon exit. Engine have plenty of torque to get car accelerating again. Then it has generous top end to pass just about everyone and everything when needed.

Smith was definitely forced down there because he got under him while still above the line. NASCAR blew this one and stole one from Reagan Smith. We shouldn't be surprised though, it's what they do.

The late braking in the first turn of the video shows what a weapon Cadillac has both with its cars and their drivers. They are the best cars to listen to on the track!
