I love the emphasis that it is ok to express one's self. It's the how majority of us misunderstand.

So far off the mark. You need to hear the gospel . Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. Good works or *being nice" or "a good person" will never save you. Get a Bible and study. Praying for you...

7.28.2024 WHOA!!! This is truth. I swear this message is for my mom. She's in her 60s, and I've watched her burn some friendships, now shes at a miserable "I want to meet people" place in her life. I know I wouldnt want to be around somebody like her, as a friend. Sad enough, I steer away from her at all cause. She is toxic and hates to admit it. My saying is that if someone "hates people" they shouldnt be trying to make friends at all or they will assume every one they come in contact with is "toxic" when they are the toxic ones. I'm glad I inherited my dads social butterfly, loveable personality lol

afraid that if I just keep capitulating in an attempt to be seen as positive, I will lose my individuality . Its like im not even allowed to have my opinions, just feeling one way, and forcing myself to say the opposite. Whats the point of having friends then?
@CenterforHopeCounseling
@CenterforHopeCounseling 2 ай бұрын
Definitely. We should be free to share authentically. I believe the choice is between doing it in a way that’s edifying and done in love. It’s toxic when it’s just let me get something off my chest without caring about how it reached people. It’s toxic when we are going through life without even taking responsibility for how we show up. Not always having to be happy and perky but not destructive.

That’s true doc, resentment robes one of the happiness they deserve and letting go is such a hard thing but once achieved yields the best results. Praying and talking it out like you said is a step in the right direction. Thank you 🙏🏽

Loneliness is also when no one wants to be with you for any extended amount of time. Friends, family, romantic partners, colleagues. No one has ever envisioned a future with me, ever. That's my loneliness.
