Hello! Is great for really slippery surface and small area as you need that low RPM to gain traction due to our hard tires. Issue is no boost and turbo which to me is necessary for rc drifting. So i recommend stick to a sensored brushless system.

Definitely nope as carpet require more RPM to lose traction.

Your transmitter throttle might be reverse, need to reverse back. View the manual and look for #7 - Throttle Alignment www.rc-mst.com/_upload/down_item_img/202108130415132a.pdf

Check your car battery voltage. Is either too low or too high.

Yup is good enough for the stock electronics. Use a voltage meter to check the overall voltage of the battery. The ESC pre-set to 3.2v / cell low voltage cut off.

No issue at all. If you upgrade your gyro, please also upgrade the stock servo as well.

hello, can I ask you which Chassis do you prefer the most? I'm thinking of SD2.0, MD2.0 and MST chassis, I'm confused .. I have a good experience in rc car but new to drift cars,, I have a good knowledge in electronics as well so if you can recommend for me three top chassis you like to drive .. my electronics are: Acuvance esc, motor and servo AND Futaba 550 gyro and receiver. if you have any recommendations for the electronics as well I will be thankful 🤩 💐

Hello! Check your local hobby store on the brand they have, so if you need any parts for replacement or upgrade, is easier for you. As for electronics, the list you mentioned consider top notch therefore is pretty good.

@@otherfahad if cash is not a problem for you, go straight to Overdose and fully hop up the chassis. You will not need to think of any chassis or hop ups for many years to come 👍🏻 Glad to know my Reddit comment helps 👍🏻

This is a RWD chassis. We use the same tires for all 4 wheels to have consistent traction.

Apologise on the late response 🙏🏻 There are few reasons causing a car to spin out. 1) Gyro is working at the wrong orientation. 2) Too little steering angle. 3) Upon full steer, the wheel is rubbing on the shock or lower arm 4) Incorrect ackerman 5) Too much wheel speed 6) Faulty hardware example bearings etc 7) Wheel is rubbing the bodyshell

That's right. No gyro adjustment, no changes to the setup, using the stock transmitter provided by the package, it just work. No issue with the electronics which many users claim.

Different communities has different ways to judge, therefore RC Drifting is a subjective hobby. Lining - Drift according to the specific lining which judges want to see. There are clipping point / zone that your car must hit. Flow - No correction on the car while drifting. Aggressiveness - How close can you maintain the distance from the lead car throughout the track. How much angle you can initiate for that particular point which judges want to see.

As stealthy, in a great way, as that Trueno with that carbon fibre front end is, I think the Levin looks better in my opinion, the brick shaped headlights has some sort of subtle aggression to it, I love it.

Better and cheaper as well. Also it provide AVCS mode for those who like such setup.

LSD gyro doesn't support SR (Futaba) or SSR (Sanwa), so you can't fully utilise the servo performance if your servo is SR or SSR. AVCS mode is something some drifters like. When gyro is activated, the steering will return back to neutral slowly to provide more smoother and less wobbly feeling.

@@billylim127 that AVCS mode seems like exactly what I’m looking for. I got a RMX 2.0 RTR, which is still completely stock from factory, because it works good enough for me so far. Could I just drop in the MGX Gyro, or do I have to change some things?

Currently MST RTR has 2 version, one come with LSD, the other come with MGX. I guess you purchase the LSD version. You can consider upgrade to MGX and a better servo.
