After watching the entire game (great job by Flats!) I feel kinda let down. This game feels very underwhelming, and I think it's because both the villains and the protagonist just seem incompetent/dumb. The enemies have like, a million opportunities to kill the player or attack them and just... don't. Even the jobber Lycans stumble and wait for you to shoot them. No enemies feel really deadly or scary in that regard. I never really feel "afraid" of any enemies. They're not good at hunting you down, or hurting you, or fighting you. I know this is the "standard" difficulty, but it's more than just the enemies health/speed. The enemies and bosses just feel super stupid and I was never in suspense at any moment. It's like the opposite of Alien: Isolation. The worldbuilding seems kinda subpar too, the opposite of a game like Darkwoods. They coulda done so much with it but a lot of this game feels kinda generic The main protagonist is just an idiot so many times as well. Mf wanted to yap to the gross mutant short dude instead of getting out of there lol. The protagonist also seems lackluster personality-wise; dude's daughter gets turned into organ loot boxes and he sounds like he's exasperated in the line at the DMV. Bro should be on some Guts from Berserk-level psychoticism. Even the other military people are stupid. Mia was stupid. Everyone's stupid and not good at what they're supposed to do, and so I feel a lack of immersion so many times. Flats' commentary is the only reason I'm watching this lol. Really not trynna be a hater and I REALLY wanted to like this game (huge fan of Resident Evil) but this just wasn't it (just in my opinion)

I think it's would have been interesting if we got a the patch where Ana was added. I feel like Support would feel a lot more viable in Classic with just Ana added. At least then people could run the classic Ana/Mercy comp which a lot of high level players say has always been good. I asked Skiesti about that support comp and she said it's good because Ana brings a lot of healing, and Mercy can damage boost more with Ana's healing backing the team up. I wouldn't say it's as good as Ana/Brig, but Ana/Mercy might be better in scenarios where you're not too concerned with dive, and you have some strong poke heroes.
