It was such a special day and place to be. The music was fantastic, to be there with this special community was deep. My first time but I will be back as often as I can. Thank you to each of the performers and for the singing along crowd. ☮️🧡

John Lennon's biggest contribution to the Abbey Road album was I Want You (She's So Heavy), which is deliberately a marked contrast to these songs by Paul.

They include a mixture of all The Beatles. This video was just a portion of the entire day/week of their concert. If you live in New York City, then visit; and participate. It’s really cool and somewhat emotional. I don’t go there anymore, because my personal schedule has changed. Maybe next year I’ll start up again. Have a go at it if you can. ✌🏼❤️

I remember the night John was killed so clearly! I mourned him for over a year as if a beloved one had died - because he had. On the 8th I lit a yahrzeit (Jewish memorial candle) for him, as I've done every year since his death. I still love his music, with and without the Beatles, still love him. It's good to see so many young people at this commemoration/celebration. He's not history to them, he still lives. And he always will.

Me too. I was 20 years old. It was a huge shock to almost everyone. We lost so much that night. It’s still shocking every time I walk by the Dakota or even think about what was taken from us all. But thank God we have all this great music. And yea it’s so good to see all these young people out there singing along. Many of them even know the more obscure songs.
