I agree I find these very interesting but at a large scale these are very deadly and can cause drowning they are formed when fast water hits slower or standing water and it jumps above and below

I like the idea of this video, but the game literally simulates anything you could possibly think of. And unlike other games, instead of the vehicle just moving and the devs putting a sound over the top, BeamNG actually has every single part (like the pistons) of the engine work, though they do of course still play the sound.

Pretty sure engine simulation is not physics based. That'd be an actual waste of resources. Temps and forces are simulated by mere numbers and curves.
