Manu - aka Emmanuel Macron - who decided to place a prime first issued from a political party that obtained 5% of the votes during the last legislative elections in France, with the objective to forbid the left socialist and communist parties (who won the lection by the way) to access power. That prime minister, to get the support of the fascist party (RN) decided to place as minister of Interior (homeland security-ish) a fascist - aka Bruno Retailleau - who declared on TV that Rule Of Law was not sacred, and that sometimes, government should just do what's the most convenient.

There's very few shows worth paying the higher and higher prices for, but I would pay so much to see this in person now. I will forever love the decline in its original form, but BAZ's composition is absolutely incredible!

The decline is basically a dark, desperate, angry, furious song. It is played from the ground while they step on your neck and tries to convey that there is nothing to do but that does not mean that we should try to do anything. It is the song of hope from someone without hope, nihilistic and disbelieving who knows that they are going to defeat him but refuses to give up whitout a last "fuckyou" I'm sorry, but although the song was beautiful and well executed and I have nothing to say about it. It lost all its essence along the way and has none of the feeling or message of the original. There is no darkness, there is no desperate hope... It's just a soulless technical exercise.

I subscribed, liked, etc. a fan. I come from a world of classical music first and punk rock second. I love both though. I'm sorry man, this arrangement doesn't hit the mark. The melodies are buried, it's hard to follow. It seems muddled. I know creating an arrangement isn't easy and watching this is still amazing and you should be proud. I'll give you this (and I'll update my comment as needed, I'm not far in, and maybe this gets epic, but I'll say that The Decline pulls you in quick, and this doesn't, this feels like "trust us, maybe it gets epic?" but the beginning is hard to trust. Love you still and mad respect.
