I love DCS how they ruin the Game with every update. Spotting Dot in VR (The big black squares) and now the Clouds. Game performance is so bad I always have to open task manager and turn off CPU 8 in DCS.exe. Very frustrating.

Disappointed ! $55 lost! Apart from the residential textures it's the same as flying in the cocase. Really not fabulous for the price! Due to very bad optimisation, even worse Mariana, do not buy Kola if you need good FPS performances in VR. 60FPS not targeted! Drop to 20 or 30. Last time i buy a map before testing demo !

Thanks man, for pointing us on a workaround for this problem. I have an old computer, and even with the F-4 on other maps I get around 50 fps average. But on Kola, with any aircraft, it is a slide show. Let's hope they can fix this soon. I brought forest details to zero, and got an optimization. Now it is flyable, with no more big FPS drops.

Somebody mentioned dcs is in the neighborhood of 175 gb with all the addons. I don’t have the phantom and channel and kola map yet and I’m already 75 percent full

175? Maybe empty ;) Mine has 720GB now + new maps incoming and for Kola seasons, looks like 2B will bo minimum very soon. They're starting to exaggerate a bit.

@@Y0Y0 I'm still not figuring out how this actually works.. at 5:03 looks like in your A\G radar you already have 2 targets\triangle showing.. unless they appears when the JTAC starts to talk, it means that they are already pre mission programmed.. any way, I don't see you inputing the MGRS coordinates that the Jtac tells to you..could You explain to me how to do it? @@HighAspect Jtac tells you the coordinates of the target, then you have to manually enter them with the UFC in a Target designation.. once you did that you can transfer them into the weapon system..a GPS bomb like the JDAM works this way!

Niestety, nie przewiduję wersji PL. Kampania jest darmowa, a tłumaczenie teraz na j. polski zbyt wiele zajęłoby czasu. Może ktoś się kiedyś na to porwie, by ją samemu przetłumaczyć - to chętnie mogę dodać wersję PL wtedy.

Check your radio settings, it works, maybe you did something wrong, freq and channels you have in the briefing

I figured it out thanks - in 2.9 you have to set a button for radio 1 and radio 2 so you can't use the backslash button. Works fine now thank you!@@Y0Y0

To be honest, I don't mind having trees from the Caucasus made this way with this quality and performance on every map 👍. However, ED did a great job years ago.

@@Y0Y0 oh, was thinking about how the light sort of goes through them, shine in the wrong direction. I think Taz1004's "better tress" fixed that.
