If you're really trying to stretch your $500/mo- there are a few things that you can make yourself- like the chili, garlic knots, and spanish rice. Not only that but you can limit the amount of salt and sugar you're feeding your family. Especially if you'd prefer to allot those funds to maybe snacks that you cannot make like chips and cheese sticks etc.

Yes cutting it by hundreds has been difficult. I feel like I am running out of food quicker than usual it is taking some getting use to.

@@LexJourney1 I totally understand! But you’ve got this! We have to find cheaper alternatives to what we normally buy or use to make it stretch. I’m finding that the processed food is way more expensive than fresh. So maybe we need to start making our own snacks, desserts, etc.

Great haul. Seeded watermelon is the only watermelon we get. Sadly it's so hard to find. Only one store far from us sale them regularly. So we travel to get them. So delicious 😋

Hey, yes I wish my Sam’s was closer. I had them all the time down south Texas but North Texas they are more spread out. He is sometimes very picky about brands, I may give the store ones a try next time just to see how they do
