I own a Studio Giraffe. Have you heard of the Steiff Museum in Giengen Brenz, the hometown of Margerete Steiff, founder of Steiff. How can I find out what year this jocko monkey puppet is from? yellow tag on ear says on Front Original Steiff 6500/17 made in Austria has three dashes under that says Preis on left and Price on right back of tag says PA 55 MASS 73 covering 50% wool 49% cotton it has circle paper tag on chest to half is yellow says Jocko bottom half red says Steiff under that says Knopf IM OHR then there is another paper tag connected by a pink string how can I know what year this was? I had this Jocko puppet when I was little I was born 1970 I had it last when I was about 3-4yrs old it was lost in store I can’t find anything that tells me how many jocko monkey hand puppets were in production at that time this puppet is described as “Steiff JOCKO Monkey Hand Puppet Germany Mohair 1949-1961 6500/17 with tags” but is mohair 50% wool 49% cotton?

That's a Tarsier. That animal can be seen in South East Asia specially in the Philippines.
