I'm loving my SV08 with the excellent @Microswiss FlowTech hotend. I print functional parts, similar to what is shown in the video. I'm more interested in layer adhesion so I don't print super fast, but the 400 mm/s in the video isn't the top end for the SV08. That's probably a good print speed for PLA and a 0.4 mm nozzle. With Rapid PLA+ you should be able to print at 600 mm/s and still have good print results on a part with long straight tool paths like this. Kudos to the Voron 2.4 designers and the Sovol engineers who adapted it to make the SV08.

Pretty sure that’s microfibre polymer conduit. It has multiple pipes inside a casing. Directional drills use identical reels for their a frames so they can pull multiple lines in one shot

I installed the @MicroSwiss FlowTech hot end when I was assembling my SV08, so I never used the stock Sovol hot end and nozzle. I love that I now have the choice of several types of very high quality nozzles, all in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mm orifice, that I can cold swap in one minute with nothing but a 7 mm nut driver. From what I've read, the Sovol hot end and nozzle prints fine but they don't have hardened nozzles yet, the standard MicroSwiss nozzle prints a little faster and the CHT nozzle is much faster (35 mm^3/s instead of 25 for 0.4 mm nozzle printing standard PLA). Being able to share excellent quality nozzles between printers, including future printers, is excellent. I'm now a MicroSwiss fan boy. :-)

I keep getting an error to load external spool however I have an AMS. Before this, I was getting a filament mismatch error. I have been using Sunlu filament. Any suggestions?

Thank you, i happened to run across this filament, and the Amazon listing is so.... so... so generic i didn't believe it. Year later you're still helping people.

hmm, that actually printed really poorly, it should spin freely straight off the bed, much like my gif or youtube short. Maybe this is just to be expected from "high speed PETG"? i haven't tried any PETG, but I printed loads of them in different PLAs. I have seen many comments of people having success with PETG on my other spinners tho, perhaps you need to recalibrate? I have found my A1 specifically to be a bit weird sometimes and needs calibrating way more often than my mini or X1C
