what do you think theyre going to do to people who learned the spell books? im thinking maybe just force unlearn the spell completely so they have to buy all the ranks from the trainer. thats what i think is the most game breaking thing about the glitch. people who learned these higher ranks of evis, shadowbolt, battleshout ect are going to be a lot stronger thru this entire raid tier and next one.

Gold buying is not really an issue after the servers starts - it buys your consumables for raids and an epic mount - the problem is when a new server launches and gold buying can be used to get an unfair advantage on people and monopolise markets

Bad timing for a work trip, all my guildies made 1k+ gold with the chronoboon AH selling. Also people got shared diamond flask quest. What a legendary launch

I don't think there is a need to ban anyone. Blizzard screwed up and you guys bought something which was available to buy. The ideal scenario is what is happening, that Blizz cleans up their owns mess and just makes those items useless. Same goes for all the items, including the scrolls.

I dont think I'll hear anyone getting banned. Like normal. haha. And my view is similar to gold buying. Blaming the developers of the game over the players. Perma ban gold buying. 2 weeks is not it.

While i get you comparing encouriging gold buying for mounts with boons. Not having gold for boons is likely going to disqualify me from raids. Not having a epic mount is not. I play this game enough to get enough gold for the boons. But I have skipped raids in HC for not having enough gold for boons in the past as a consumable. Never felt I had to do the same for not having a epic mount. So yes people will buy gold for their epic mount. But I feel like people are way more likely to buy gold for raid consumes wich include chronoboons. Also it's pretty complex as boons also surpress consumable prices to a extent but so do bots farming mats for the consumables.

wowhead comments is where i saw people saying Boons at 10g encourage gold buying. And with that logic any gold sink could be argued as such.

Yes you certainly could. But not all gold sinks are equal. As long as RMT exists everything encourages gold buying. People useally don't first consider the epic mount as a reason to go over the hill. They are more likely to go over the hill if they are prohibited by being gatekept by not having world buffs/enchants/consumes. I do agree that people should be punished for gold buying. But don't agree with that all gold sinks are equal. I also think that people of the exploit early and often should get punished especially if they are blatently doing it buy filling their bags up with items once they know it can't be accessed anymore after a game. As people also do that because they don't expect to get punished. While it went to the extremes especially becuase people knew it wasn't intended.

@@toxieqt what’s up. I’m doing okay thanks. Tbc is a little dry atm. There’s Warmane doing Onyxia soon which I will avoid. Netherstorm which looks a little low pop but has classic client which is really cool. It’s the teams first private server though. Gummy’s Felmyst is about 4 weeks old and pop is low and x1 exp so is a risky pick but I’m there atm as horde, level 65. And I’m raid logging Netherwing with their fresh likely end of year is very early 2025, which will be hype. Take care
