They look off. They're too yellow and muddy. Should be more neon green, and in complete darkness like this you would expect more definition and sharpness in their shape. The saturation seems right for 90% of the time although it could be more relative to the amount shown in the video. Here there's so much intensity that higher saturation and just more overall brightness would be expected. The purple and pink colours are rare though. The way they move looks good though and the shimmering effects are convonsing, however they aren't constantly moving so quickly, they move more like clouds most of the time.

It's a real downer!! I did another total uninstall / reinstall...removing my profile this time (not a big deal, I didnt have a career mode progress to lose) I have had better performance actually. Not perfect by any means....still laggy, buggy especially on the Map Screen, selecting an aircraft. (Freezes or total CTD). Oh..and I will not fly around DC and Paris anymore, for some reason those 2 cities for me cause other issues. (sure other cities also...just haven't found them yet.) Not as bad as before in the past few days, flying around rural areas are ok, but more populated places, esp. in the NE, its a crapshoot. . No question, this sim is still an unfinished mess!

Automatic comes on if set in your settings.

Fly towards the northern hemisphere from anywhere in northern Europe. I went from Finland in an A330 but had to travel quite far. I just played with the date and month reversing it while keeping it at 1am

I will miss Chris, he was great at forecasting the weather. I only watched channel 6 in the weekends when he was on. He was always spot on. I wish him the best of everything. Channel 6 lost a great weatherman, he should have had a better spot.

Thanks, one of the handful of flights I completed. Sadly, this has been more of a mess still. I am thinking about a refund....deadline is Tues. (14 days) There will be a "hot fix" on Monday ...I'll see what that does, if nothing...then I may just get a refund and wait until this thing is far more stable...I'll see...still thinking about it. Other smaller planes, choppers, hot air balloons are fine...still liking how I can get out and walk around in spots...mostly rural areas. It's the whole cloud based game, relying on their end AND my overloaded slow internet...eh, I knew that would be a problem months ago. *Also another "larger hot fix on Dec 9) I have 2020 still installed, that is still working pretty well so far.

In free flight, I zoomed into around Iceland (at night time there), I noticed a circle of green "clouds" on the map view. Realized this was the Aurora. I just took off from a nearby airport with those "green circle of clouds." Loaded up fine, aurora was vibrant and animated.

7:30am ET flight around Lake Tahoe, working great. Scenery looked amazing. No issues at all. Tried another flight out of Philly to DC at 11am ET... nothing but problems. Livery on plane is glitchy. Terrain not loading, pixelated. Eventually the entire sim froze. 😒
