@@danieldeleongonzalez that’s right, I am using the super bass model in the Lion. I put the volume 1 around 9 o’clock. No volume 2. Bass around 9 o’clock, middle 9 o’clock, treble on 1 o’clock. I think presence around 10 o’clock. The boost was on around 4 o’clock. Hope it is helpful. 😊

I have both of these. I've been using a NuX Amp Academy with some IR's loaded up from York Audio as my preamp as it's WAY easier in terms of setting up and the editor. I'd like to do what you do with this setup ideally for a specific band. My big question is how did you get 3 channels out of your Tonex One? I only see the option to have it set up as an A/B or an On/Off. What am I missing?

Happy you liked it, mate! Just press at the same time the footswitch plus the alt bottom and you will be able to switch between three presets. 😃

Que baita set , mano. Estou pretendendo fazer algo parecido pra ano que vem kkk. Uma pergunta: no Tonex One vi que vc usa três canais com diferentes ganhos. Tem como colocar os três canais com o a mesma captura, mas só alternar os efeitos de delay e reverb? Tipo no primeiro um matchless com reverb, segundo mesmo matchless porém só com delay, etc.

@ is the HX Stomp easy to use? I’ve never had the chance to play one. I’m very into pedal minimalism. I use a tuner, Angry Driver, BOSS MD200, BOSS RV6 and BOSS DD-8. Do you think I could do everything I can with my current board and more if I switched to the HX stomp and used a A/B switch like you do or maybe a ABC switch?

@@loganwiggins90 with lots of tutorial videos on KZbin you can learn how to use the overall of your HX Stomp quite quickly. If you are a pedal minimalist you might be able to do everything with only one preset like me. It’s hard to answer that accurately because I need to know how you use each of you pedals but definitely you can do almost anything in the HX Stomp effects wise. 😊

@ thank you! I mostly play pop/Indie rock sounds. I mostly only use chorus and a basic reverb sound. Most of the time I have a light sparkle clean sound (The blues driver is always on) with one game stage of an angry Charlie (in the angry driver) going pretty aggressive. Most shows I play I can literally only have three effects. distortion, chorus, and reverb. but your video has really got me thinking that maybe the HX stomp could give me everything I want and more!

@@matheusbarros3Hi guys! I am buying an HX stomp and it looks to me it is good enough using the HX alone. However watching this and other videos make me consider including a tonex one to the setup. I have two questions: 1 - Are the captures included on the tonex one software good or will I have to buy other captures to have great captures? 2 - It seems to me that I would be "wasting" the HX stomp by using the tonex amps. Do you have any thoughts on that? What would be a good reason to use tonex + HX stomp? Thank you guys!!!

@@guilhermefernandes6224 thank you for your question! 1. Yes, from my experience, the captures that come in the ToneX one are not amazing. You will need to buy or look for captures in the ToneNet. 2. The HX Stomp is an amazing addition in this set up, although I am not using the amps from the HX, I am all the amazing effects and drives.

@@guilhermefernandes6224 The captures are being processed by the Tonex one. which is inserted into the processing stream of the HX Stomp. You could probably output them on different outputs (not tried yet), usually they are handled serially.

@@SjaakShirly6559 I could use using the headphones out or the other output if I am not using stereo. Currently I am using a boss Katana in the acoustic channel to monitor myself. When I am recording the videos I use a pair of headphones from my audio interface. Hope it helps!

Yes I don't know if I should stick with these two pedals or carry on but I am super happy with these I bought the hx stomp XL which I've had for two years and then I bought the tonex a few months ago, I wish I had the smaller versions like you to be honest as I also have to two button foot switch. I haven't got a board yet but I don't know if I should just stick with these two or whether I should get a few overdrives?

Thank you, happy you liked it! Although I didn’t use, there is a noise gate in the beginning of my chain. It wasn’t on though. I try to avoid noise gate as much as I can. No need for compression either. 😊

As always, great work, and I really personally appreciate your take on compact small boards. I noticed you had a switch for eaxh effect exceot delay. It looked like, in order to engage it, you had to move a dial on the Stomp. If you used overdrive pedals instead of overdrives in the Stomp, could you then have assigned the delay to one of those switched?

So nice to see you hear! Thank you for your support! You are right, I engage the delay using the knob. It’s not a problem for me when I play at some gigs as I use the delay always on. When I need to switch on and off the delay I use a chocolate midi controller. You are right , I could also add an external overdrive but the idea was to use a very compact board. 😁

@ nothing much really, this setup is like a swiss army knife, it has all the things I basically need without having too much stuff on my board. But when Im on my cover band, I throw in my expression pedal for my wah, volume swells and pitch shifts.
