Very wasteful with the ball! No creativity or imagination. Just ballooning the ball here and there, speculatively. Way off elite leagues in Africa, let alone Europe. That's why a lot of NPFL players rot here. Watch the PSL for instance, and see quality play and proper coaching. And yet, somehow, we expect miracles in Continental Competitions.

That Sunshine Stars Defender at the end, could've just ruined a very vital 3 points for his team. Average mediocres everywhere!! They seriously have a psychological problem, probably believe they don't deserve to win an away game.

This is how football should be. The other team should not be condemned to dropping points automatically, because they're an away team. If you deserve to win, you win!

How is that a penalty!? Such a shame!!! At a point when other clubs are making positive changes and the league is taking forward strides, they'd always be that one or two saboteur(s) that would keep putting the collective image in a bad light! Terrible way to end an otherwise great game! I can't even watch to the end. It's disgusting and annoying to see. If Akwa United went away and are robbed like this after putting in a dogged performance like Abia Warriors did, they'd complain of 'Home Must Win' syndrome and how the league is corrupt, lol. And somehow, miraculously, we expect the country to be better.

I have watched differently games on this turf, and i can tell you, you're not for from the truth. When you try to complain as someone wanting to watch a good game, they'd tell you, other teams do it

I have watched the replay on twitter. It could have been a harsh decision but truly, the defender handled the ball with his hand while on air. He mistimed his header. If I was thee ref and I wanted to be plain, I would have still given a penalty. If it is in europe and it is waved away, VAR will call the Ref. Abia got a early goal and defended well, YES but that gameplay is a penalty. Nothing more, nothing less.
