I've watched your channel for a long time and i'm always so envious of your monthly meal plan...my family isn't nearly as 'adventurous' as yours is when it comes to food. They seem to only want the same 2 or 3 things every day (probably some neurodiversity stuff going on there for sure). How much, on average, do you think you actually *stick* to what you've planned out (beyond a simple rearranging/switching days?) Do you think it's easier because y'all are retired and have more time/energy to cook? My family is still very young so it's exhausting sometimes!

I see a lot of books back there. Maybe a Paddington book? Do you read a lot to your grandkids? My kids love being rocked and read to by their Pampaw (ny father 😊) He has a library in his house and it's been a joy seeing him read my kids the same books that we read as kids. He held onto them the whole time ♥️

@@annabelmiller8 Yes, I love Paddington and have the Paddington books, it was one of my favorites growing up. 😀Both me and my husband love reading to the grandkids every time they’re here. Many of the books are from when our kids were little as well, it is so fun sharing them with the grandkids. Our whole family loves books. 😀📚How wonderful your father reads to your children too. 💕

@@YouCanCallmeNet They actually did charge me for the two missing Brussels sprouts, but fortunately I went into the app and there is a place where you can report missing items and they refunded the money. I was happy it was so easy to resolve. 😀

Thanks for showing your meal plan at the end. I always look forward to it with your grocery haul videos. Also, I'm thinking about trying that cauliflower rice, but I'm afraid it may be soggy or mushy. What is the texture like? Is it like traditional rice? Do you just steam it as you would with traditional rice? Also, can you share some of your holiday baking videos this year?

@@GODSlove1358 Thank you 😀 I’m glad you enjoy the meal plan. I love cauliflower rice, it is definitely a different texture than rice, and the ticket is to steam it like you would vegetables but definitely not over cooking it, which will turn it too soft. I also sometimes cook it right in the skillet and let it steam along with whatever else I’m cooking or like in a fried rice type style. It takes a little experimenting but it is so versatile. I also really like the microwave steamable bags it cooks it very well every time. I will be sharing lots of holiday recipes this month. 😀

Your groceries always look delicious. I bought 3 hams at 1.98/lb and food for Thanksgiving dinner and St Nicholas Day treats for my family as well as just normal groceries for the 6 of us. And it was almost $300 even with it being mostly sale items and mostly Aldi.

I used the whole 12 oz bag of egg noodles cooked up in this recipe, you can use two cans of tuna if you wanted it to have more tuna, my original recipe calls for one can but I think a lot of people like two cans. 😀

@@debbierochad15 Tea sandwiches are various small sandwiches that are served at parties or at tea time. Like cucumber sandwiches for example. My favorite are radish tea sandwiches and small bell pepper and cream cheese pinwheel shaped sandwiches. There are so many fun and different tea sandwich recipes. 😀

Your meal plan sounds good! I always get some meal inspiration ideas from your plans. Hopefully you can record some of those meals. The crockpot steakbites and sheet pan mushroom burgers sound amazing! 😋🍽 I definitely want to try the mushroom burgers with probably gravy over mashed potatoes.

I know something you can do with the Pumpkin spice cream cheese You can make pumpkin spice cream cheese stuffed,baked apples or Or slice the apples and make it like a casserole layer the apples on bottom,pumpkin spice cream cheese in the middle repeat process.and put some crumble on top Sound good to me.Maybe i'm gonna try you too.

April this is an excellent grocery haul loved watching this! It’s the first video I have watched on your channel but it certainly won’t be the last!! I am so glad that Walmart makes Great Value Corn square cereal I will definitely be on the look out for it I knew they had the rice squares but so glad that they also have the corn squares as well.

Oh goodness eggnog!! I’m making myself wait to buy it till thanksgiving but I’m super excited!! The taste test was fun! I added the Oreos to my Walmart order my family has been talking about them and it seems like I’ve heard several positive reviews.
