Thank you so much for creating this series! I'm an astrophotographer and have been animating my photos using Davinci Fusion but haven't quite gotten my animations to look convincing or as "natural" as I've seen others. The workflow and order of nodes you've shown as well as settings to use for the particle render and emitter helped me a lot!

Check this series out. Even though DV upgrades and third party scripts have made Kinetic Text easier, there's some great nuts and bolts information in this series that take some of the pain out of using these techniques.

Lol, was following along with this tutorial, up to this point where you import that footage. I can't find anything like it when I search for it. So, the follow along stops here for me. The idea is great though. Pitty that you don't link to the assets necessary to follow along 😔 (or better, share it on google drive, dropbox, etc...)

This is a great tutorial on using the Spline and Keyframe editors. I never could get the Keyframe editor to work for me before. Now, the Keyframe editor is my friend! Thanks Joe.

This was a nice review Joe! I'm doing this in DV 18.1 now and there's been some changes to some of the spline curve selections. Character group animation follower animation as you demonstrated no longer works. It did in DV17. There is a workaround for that; I see that is a very sought after capability. Other than that, this was a great refresher. Thanks again for this series and I hope you will follow through with more videos on this.

Great tutorial. Apparently the Character range setting has changed behaviour as the behaviour shown in the video (5:45) no longer does the same.. in fact, it now does nothing. Do we need to fiddle with keyframes here maybe?
