They must have changed the app now. If Child is set to 100%, it isn’t 100% of Parent pump speed, it’s 100% of its own pump speed. So it’ll run full blast. Just a FYI. I learned the hard way, after sand got shot everywhere.

The mp40 will rust before that ceramic is worn atleast thats what happend with 4 of mine. The plastic might be the right move. Definitely gonna give these a try.

The unit has to be slightly different than the ecotech unit or eocotec would sue the pants out their competition.

Who gets sent an MP40 and let's it live in the garage?! 🤣 I'm sure you got your reasons, but that is the fanciest dust collector I've ever seen lol I remember the first Jebao push, game changers for sure. When I get ready to get back in the reef game I'll most likely pick up some Jebao/Jecod.

Great video I have the DMP10 Got it 2 weeks ago. Still in the box. I need to get it out and test it. I would never get an MP pump way to expensive for me.

That is some cool mad scientist stuff right there! I think the effect of the air on kalk is limited/negligible as long as the surface of the water is not agitated. That being said, I have no measurements/credentials to backup my claims. I'm going 90/10 and just being stoked that my Kalk stirrer is smaller then my preferred method, a saturated Brute can of kalk that I periodically refill and just leave alone.
