That part where Robin asked Duncan to take Marion safely home. Duncan and Robin both knew Duncan had no means of ensuring her safety or protecting her, but Robin let Duncan leave with a sense of respect, dignity, and purpose.

2:25 literally the thought in my mother’s head. Why she didn’t want a small glasses wearing kid like me, trying out for football despite how much my dad wanted me to 😂.

I admire Rudy for being the underdog, he may not be the biggest or strongest but he has more heart than anyone in this movie not letting his size stop him from earning a spot on Notre Dame Football Team. I definitely gained a lot of respect when all the Players stood in Solidarity with Rudy for not getting to suit up and how they all put their jerseys in a pile. great way to honor a teammate and enjoyed hearing the crowd chanting Rudy, Rudy Rudy before he went into the game. one of the best inspirational inspiring movies about not giving up and pursuing your dreams while not being hindered by your size or strength but being driven by something greater which is proving those who tell you what you can and can't do.

RUDY is Hoosiers on steroids. Im sorry but RUDY>>>Hoosiers. And let me tell you that im spanish and basketball is our most popular sport only behind soccer. I have no idea of football rules or tactics but RUDY gets me all the time.

I don't care that Costner's accent is lacking. This movie was great...everyone, including him, was perfect.

Let me tell it to you as clean as I can... We have 95 workers here, fully licensed as CLS in California, we gave them full time jobs to the highest paying laboratory in the country. HR regulations allow just 60 FTE, which means atleast 35 California educated workers will be working part time. So if any of you have any fantasy's of that $18,000 Overtime paycheck shining in the sun... you best leave them right here. Of you 15 dreamers, maybe we will hire one or two. My job is to basically work the shit out of you for the next 5 days and whoever is still standing at the end, maybe we will let you work OT on weekends. You'll be covering callouts week in and week out, and your greatest value to us is we don't care if you get sleep. Our Nurses our going to hound you with phone calls like you are their worst enemy's. Like what you hear so far? Any of you wanna run back to the midwest... nows your chance....

The 70's had "Gonna Fly Now" The 80's had EVERYTHING The 90's had "Tryouts" although Rudy will never be Rocky. it was our generation's attempt at that never give up hope story to help motivate us. My coaches played this song while we were in Football and basketball camps in high school and during road trips to games to hype us up. What a score!

I’ve read all the comments said in these posts. Weather or not it’s 100% what actually happened. The most powerful message in this movie and his life. Dispute Rudy lack of athletic ability. Prove me wrong. Fight fight fight! Don’t quit. I needed his motivation to power through it.
